The way I interpreted Wildflower wildfire is that it’s all about her biological mother, and the way Lana learned how not to be explosive and destructive like her mother was. She’ll use all her willpower to be good and never hurt someone she’s with. So after all, her past experiences made her a better person.

I love long Lana reaction videos 👏👏 And your emotions while listening 👍👏 💕 The first new track I heard was Textbook. I was worried, especially after it started I thought i liked it & I was, exactly like you, thinking "ok, awesome, very dark, David Lynch/Twin Peaks/Quinton Tarantino aesthetic but then it switched and got pop and then decontructed..idk... Then Blue Banisters and Wildflower Wildfire were gorgeous!!!! Maybe textbook will grown on me, but idk, I'm sad to say that Chemtrails is just not on my Playlist like her older music. I did recently get tipped off to the original demo for Lust for Life? Not the Weeknd version, the demo, and omgggggggg I've been listening non stop. I know Lana has developed so much as a person, and lyrically grown as well, but I'm still obsessed with her older stuff, it's an escape for me. Makes me feel like I'm in another world or something. Anyways, super long ramble over. LOVED your reaction.

for blue banisters i think she decided no to be "blue" by ending a relatioship with this man, in the meantime she watches life pass by and how other continue with their lifes, but she stills remembers that man, so for every annyversary she needs her friends so reinforce her desition by paiting her benisters green and grey. And then all over again, summer comes, winter goes.....

I think Textbook is about her ex boyfriend who was a cop. “It seemed only appropriate you’d easily have my back” he was older than her and a public figure of authority. “There we were screaming Black Lives Matter/and I saw you saw who I am” potentially her public support for BLM causing friction in their relationship as this was adjacent to the whole “blue lives matter” thing - him seeing who she is and not changing what she stands for - “you know I’m not that girl, you know I’ll never be”. “standing blue with open arms” a police uniform??? Just my theory idk lol

"Oh it sounds SO good", she sayed, pausing at a powerful moment. You paused a lot during the song for someone who took the time to break down the lyrics afterwards.
@FernStone
2 жыл бұрын
Well i have to pause for copyright reasons , I have to talk about the music at different moments . I know “not all reactors do this” . But also not every reactor tries to fight the copyright claims . Also , I pause because I don’t want to forget what I want to say . Anyway , you must be new here , it’s just what I do ! You don’t have to like it . I suggest having a look at some of my other videos and see how you feel. My videos are about what I feel and think about the music not just how I physically react. But if you don’t like my style of reacting you just don’t and that is more than fair ☺️. I do truly understand . There are all types of reactors and some people like different things.

WW: I think this song is about how she'll always be wild, but is trying to be wild in a non-destructive way. To be wild and a force to be appreciated, not feared/extinquished. Fave of all three by far. FAR. I've listened to this one 10x as much as either of the others. TB: I love the verse way more than the chorus. Many people love the shift, but the chorus totally loses me. All of her "bad" songs to me have nice pieces that don't take me somewhere as a whole. BB: The opening line is clunky to me, I cringe. I guess it finds a groove. I hear a STRONG Joni Hejira vibe, so I get it, but I don't love it. Again - pretty pieces - but I find myself waiting for the song to end. :(
