Those mid 90s Lance alumimum floating rooves are durable. Easy to patch too.

I've been dying to get an old slide in as a project but nervous about digging into it fully. Watching your videos has given me the sack to actually go for it. Thank you for uploading your progress.

That's awesome! Yeah I was nervous at 1st... but it's just wood and time mostly. Good luck! I hope to get back at this soon and get part 9 going.

If you truly want a project you could get on the web and order a Glen-L camper plan. They offer life size drawings to build yourself. The plans are economical, but they are based on 1970's designs.

Nice work. I'm build a camper and have decided on using Zip tape or Deck tape on the framing that you're replacing, around windows and door openings. Also, did you see any 5 mm plywood at Home Depot? It's better that underlayment.

Coming along nicely. Are you going to put a digital TV antenna to replace the coax? I may have missed it, but are you going to paint the outside something other than white with some more up to date graphics or make it still look original white etc? Huge project. keep chugging away.

I did find the other end of the coax under the cabinet above the sink, so maybe I'll keep it. I haven't thought about painting the outside, but maybe down the road when it's 100% done and been used for a while, then consider that.
