A minor point - the middle row seats do fold completely flat, the seat bases lift forward to do it, and voila....

This guy does the best reviews on KZitem... We need a new 'old style' top gear TV show with more car related reviews etc...he'd be the perfect presenter. How does he remember all the stats and facts? 🤔

Good review of what I'm sure is a very capable off-road vehicle - but the 4 door starts at £45,315 - a Toyota Hi-Lux twin-cab starts at £29,145 - and has a very good reputation for reliability and off-road ability.

The 5 seat 110 rear seats DO fold flat if you lift the seat cushions up first, they are designed with hinges on the front edge for this. 7 seaters have a sliding mechanism for the 2nd row seatsthat prevents a fully flat boot but it can be done with a bit of muscle!

Simon I’ve ordered a 110 HSE PHEV. I also looked at the G-Wagen which is very good too but twice the price for the “entry” level version as the well equipped Defender. On the road IMO the Defender is a better drive. Don’t know personally how they compare off road but various posts on KZitem indicate they’re about equal. The interior of the Defender was more “industrial design” inspired and less “in your face” than the G Wagen.

I have driven the new Defender off road and they are fantastic, however the entry price tag is way too high. The incredibly poor reliability is now unfortunately unshakeable and this totally dominates the LR brand. Even your review of Land-Rovers reliability sums it up. www.osv.ltd.uk/land-rover-reliability/ Conclusion: Is Land Rover reliable? Land Rover and Range Rover are not reliable. It might be painful to admit it, but the evidence is clear to see.

@@floydb9100 Yes indeed I have bitter first hand experiences spread across 15 years and 4 vehicles including the current shape Range Rover Autobiography. Issues have including transmission failure twice, diesel fumes filtering into cabin, knocking front suspension never cured. My last RR was a replacement from the factory for a warranty rejected vehicle. I just don’t have the time or energy to deal with brand anymore.

@@modmod392 I bought a RR Vogue V8 Petrol in 2003 and still drive that car today. Except brakes & tires I had 1 x compressor changed. But it's a BMW😉
