So I was the Lando player at the weekend, thanks for showing off my deck. Justin understood a lot of what I was going for but he definitely piloted it wildly different to how I did. Basically in pretty much all matchups I’m trying to swarm the board for the first two turns, forcing my opponent to deal with all those units and then I swing out my Cassians or my Fighters for Freedom. I also primarily use Leia as a ready a resource tool to swing out either another 1 drop on turn 1 (which I’ll only really do if I’ve not got 2 1 drops) or play her turn 2 to swing out 2 2 drops. I’ll exhaust key targets with her when I need to - exhausting Rey on the flip turn is pretty vital - but my main priority is always more and more units. At the weekend I won all my Han blue matchups as I immediately Tarkintown whatever they Han action out and again swarm the board to win before we get anywhere near Luke money. Another thing is I’ll pretty much never play Cassian from hand, I’ll happily resource every single copy of him so I can keep brining out a ready unit when I need to. With Falcon, Cassian and Sneak Attack I’ve got a good amount of options to play a ready unit when they’ve stabilised the board and I just need a bit of damage to finish them off. I won one match by sneak attacking Benthic, smuggling out an armed to the teeth and buffing a Cantina Braggart. Don’t sleep on the Braggart: 3 health 1 drop puts you out of ping damage range. Those 1 drops have a range of health to give more versatility into different matchups. Thanks again for showing it off, hoping more people give it a go. I’ve gotten a lot better with it over the last week or so, definitely takes some learning

Lando has easily become my favorite Aggro list since I tried him out. Have you tried out Kari Zev? You can smuggle her out for 4 and the 4/7 body is actually giant if she is accompanied by other units threatening damage. I posted my list in another comment, you should give it a spin on Kara and tell me what you think.

@@sainmanstanding To start with when I was creating the deck I put out all the cards that were coming out either same cost with added benefit or cheaper with Lando’s ability and Zorii did make the cut because like you say it’s a big body for 4 resources, the problem was whenever I was running the deck I would always smuggle basically anything else instead, in particular Cassian. At that point I also had new Falcon and I would always smuggle that instead of Zorii if I didn’t want or have Cassian or if I didn’t have a bunch of low cost to drop from my hand. Don’t get me wrong, I think it could work and some key benefits it has are that it’s outside of Fell the Dragon and Takedown range but just the reality of it was that all of those 4 cost cards were just too slow for what the deck can achieve without them, with K-2 being the only exception due to how strong of a card it is. I’ll have to give that list you’ve got a go!

If yall made any change in your setup i think something cool, and maybe not too difficult, would be a shared close up camera that you could show a card in hand to us if it was an important/interesting line of play you were considering. Idk if im describing that well, but a quick glimpse at what you're pondering over would be awesome.

I prefer the way yall handle your streams/videos. No need to show and explain resource decisions and unless there’s a really good reason to (which is what yall already do) Keep up the good content, boys!

Awesome deck. I think some cards that deserve looking at: Jetpack, Valiant Assault Ship and his Falcon. The latter 2 are a bit slower, but with his ability you can get a 5/5 Falcon out for instance. I personally did like Jetpack to give myself some more options with Smuggle/his ability.

So I tried new Falcon and Valiant for a while (Valiant primarily when I was running Keep Fighting as it gets the +2 on attack, Falcon because it comes out as a 4 cost 5-5) but to be honest they were both too slow and too expensive for what I was trying to achieve. K-2 can be justified for that cost as it’s a bit of a pain to deal with and obviously combos amazingly with Sneak Attack or Heroic Sacrifice. Jetpack is definitely something I’m considering to just keep that one unit alive when you need to, which is one of the main reasons I’m running L3

@@dalebarker2406 Agreed! I think you are almost making it more a Midrangey deck at that point and you'd probably want to change a lot more to do so. I did really like Jetpack, but also because I don't have 3 Milennium Falcons in my collection for instance, so I was filling it out. Definitely going to give your deck a try at some point.

@@Direksone For sure, I think it works best just blitzing and accepting that in most cases if they get to like 8 or 9 resources you’re probably going to lose. I’d just be wary of swinging in too many events/upgrades as I already think this is pretty close to the limit. The more units the better as if you’re on your Lando flip turn with about 4/5 units down you’ve probably already won with what’s in your smuggle pile. Even Overwhelming Blast isn’t that crippling as a lot of your cheap units have 3 health. I can’t lie and say Valiant or new Falcon are perfect swaps for old Falcon as coming in ready is a big boost to this deck but they aren’t horrible replacements. Hope it performs well for you, it takes some practice getting used to the resource shell game

Regarding Game Cafes, I work at Snakes & Lattes as a Game Expert and we were almost called Game Sommeliers lol. But TBH games with intricate rules with timing charts and such are usually games that people already know how to play - you tend not to have to answer questions. I spend more time explaining Exploding Kittens lol.

In game 4 Lando couldnt punch Sabine because of the friendly aspects but it likely didnt matter anyways since the game was over.

Just nitpicking (makes no difference in the end), on the Han match Lando could not have attacked Sabine as there were 3 other aspects on different cards. Most people forget that 😅

Not suprised by qi ras poor performance. I really dont think green is where she belongs. Red seems really good and I dont mean like the red qi ra lost from the event he was on grit stuff. I mean like hard control red iden. Feels real good

Why hard control? It doesn’t make sense with her ability to, just play iden at that point. Green is most definitely where she belongs, she does what krennic does but way better. I play qira green and have had great success against a bunch of decks. Btw wooooo won gen con day 2 with qira green so it definitely is the right shell

@@Jtatumlover0 Is it though? Blue/Green Villain is just a really good combo. And also Woo did win, but part of the win came from the 1st game where he did not put damage on his base after an attack early on and there was another thing somewhere in that match as well that I forget right now. Didn't seem malicious to me, it was a long day and his opponent also did not catch it. It is still an impressive feat nontheless, but that Hondo deck might've actually been able to win it, certainly the first game.

I dont think that there's no point playing her just because you make a little less use of her ability. You're still on hylobom and pyke sentinel, which are two of her important targets for her ability. You can still use her late game to protect your big plays from your opponents big plays. I've definitely been on the other side of an Avenger where like a buffed home one is my only current answer but with a shield that doesn't matter. The main bit is that her flip quite often guarantees you get to that late game that you want on a pretty consistent basis. Like sure congrats on his W however, I think people are just ready for her now tbh which is why she didn't perform very well in Manchester. We've seen this time and time again in this game where decks dominate tournaments and later turn out to not be very great. For example green sabine dominated early set 1 tourneys but then by the end of the set barely anybody was on green over yellow because it just wasn't enough. Definitely don't think green in bad but I don't think it's her home. @Jtatumlover0

@@pollywop6339 i mean that happens with every deck, if it succeeds more answers get popular. That’s not a qi’ra thing. And because it is such a unit based ability i would rather run iden in double blue or red. I mean yeah a shield is nice but you could potentially play moment of peace for an avenger against hero green. Overwhelming barrage combined with her flip is so insanely powerful that i believe running anything other than green is just plain wrong. Also, hard control in general just isn’t very good rn.
