It is interesting to read comments on videos. Few people truly understand the natural world.

What about the insects... the small mammals... the birds' nests...? How prescribed fire helps this wildlife and improves their habitat? Thank you.

For bird nests, prescribed burning is not typically done in those seasons. As for the small mammals they can survive and escape. There is a prescribe burning type, called a ring fire that gets very hot and surrounds the burn area. The ring fire is not typically suggested or done because it prevents animals from leaving sometimes. Heading fires should be done under conditions in which they are safe to do, and backing fires are typically slow to move (but that also means it has more time to heat the ground and burn plants). Wildlife can escape. Prescribe burning is honestly safer for wildlife. Multiple studies have shown that the total fire count remains around the same, but with just wildfires replacing prescribed burns or prescribed burns replacing wildfires. Where fires are at risk to occur no matter what, then it is safer to do it with as much control as possible so that we can lessen severity (impact on the ecosystem, wildlife, etc). As for natural fires, there are pros and cons for letting them burn, but that depends on safety and severity (impacts to the environment). Insects are pretty resilient, but I don't know too much. If you want to know more about that one I would suggest reading peer reviewed studies on Google Scholar. I now see that you wrote your comment 8 years ago.... but I'll hit reply anyway for other people.
