Lane Splitting!...Rob!....My Sphincter Muscle is clamped so tightly together that I don't think I will ever have a successful visit to the Bathroom ever again!...LOL...! (We can lane-split over here as well). Wonderful to see the little ones, and get a cuddle, and a trip into the kitchen! A shiny Heritage with lots of chrome!...I love lots of chrome! I fancy the new Honda CMX 500 Bobber twin....but it's not got enough of Chrome for my liking (like your '72)! I always envy your CA Central Valley heat!...Autumn starting here in England now, meaning 9 months of wet and cold on the way! ...and a name for you to conjure with, Rob!... from a long time ago!.....Bakersfield Deppitty Sherriff; David Keith Rogers! Take care Rob, and keep 'em coming!

I sometimes get that clamping feeling while lane splitting :) I'd love a 97-98 Springer Heritage but all stock That one had been completely done over to show bike quality from what i could tell. I don't like the triple digits that much especially when it last for a month. We'll now have our Fall & Winter which isn't that bad here I've only been in Bakersfield since 1990 I'll have to google deputy Rogers see what pops up Thank you

Thanks, yes that Softail did look nice. It looked like he had everything chromed or customized from the original Heritage model. I'd love to have a springer front end on my Sportster & Softail but they cost so much $

Those Crotch Rocket sure are fast looking even just setting there on the sidewalk. The only real place to ride one is at the Isle of Man where they hit speeds of 200 MPH+ a going thru town. And you know now I like my little Sportster even more after seeing just one of those guy's crashes over there. They say Speed Kills, that Video made a believer out of me. Just like having to watch out for one of those left turn light runner, that was close. Great show RR, see you next week. RSMF.

yes those sport bikes can get some speed more than you need IMO. Luckily that guy stopped or I'd been flattened ( no time to react )

Glad to see you back on the bike. Random question, is purple your favorite color? I believe I saw purple lazes on your shoes

Purple has been one of my favorite colors ever since 1970 Dodge had the Plum Crazy purple paint. Those shoes match my Softail, which is painted purple & black w/ gold stripe ( purple for cancer survivor, black for when i was shot & brought back to life, The stripe indicates the heart beating on a medical scan ). The shoes are Tony Hawk brand & very comfortable. Beside matching the Softail paint job I did. Another of my favorite colors are Candy Apple metallic pearl & Anti freeze green metallic.

yea I'm a cruiser guy also. My back can't handle that laid over riding position for very long. It was a very nice looking bike thou & had lots of little special nuts & bling added that didn't show up well in the video. I'd like to give it a spin around the block just to see what it can do :)

Down here in Florida you get caught lane splitting you might as well just shot the teller,, if you know what I mean,, I guess my question is save your mirror did tap a car's mirror,,, who would be to blame the car not giving you enough room,,, or you not realizing you didn't have enough room,, S in Fla

It depends. Generally the motorcyclist would be at fault for unsafe lane splitting unless the car driver came across the line into your lane to hit you & you were doing everything legal according to the lane splitting law, ( that could be proven by the camera footage ). Clipping mirrors usually wont produce any damage as mirrors are made to fold away. You probably need to hit with the handle bars at a higher speed to damage the cars mirror. One more reason I'd not move to Florida, I guess. It's too bad lane spliting is not 50 state legal and car drivers weren't such A holes of course there's also A hole bike riders lane splitting illegally. I see it all the time on YT vids

it's a 2001 Custom Chrome kit bike with Rev Tech 88 engine & 5 spd in a Mid USA softail frame. Right now it's broke down waiting for me to get the time to figure out what's wrong with it & fix it so I can ride it
