That little EVO in the 72 sounds damn good Rob. Brakes, not so much. Maybe wanna take peek at ‘em. Ride safe.

Thank you I replaced the rear pads 5 k ago with larger, harder after market racing pads. That's the squeal you hear. It is annoying but they stop much better than OEM pads

Thanks You have to keep your head and eyes moving back and forth all the time and go slow enough to react

Scary stuff....as always, Rob! I try to follow you on my Google Street Maps. I assume you are on either I-5 or Route 99, Bakersfield, a lot of the time! Far too much traffic! Need more countryside stuff...LOL...! Take care, Rob, and watch out for car mirrors...and Banana peel!!

Thank you. I run Olive Dr to Hwy 99 and get off at Panama Ln to work. Then back the same way going home ( unless the freeway gets shut down ). I wish I had time to go for a weekend ride out in the country but family obligations & house work prevent it. I have to keep my eyes open for all types of things on the road now a days

Hey Rob. I am from Nova Scotia and been watching your vids for awhile. Nice to see you back from surgery. This lane splitting seems to make sense, but at the same time- jeezz you get so close with the mirrors, as others have stated. My question is pretty obvious, but have you have hit anything with your mirror? and then, what's the protocol? a bunch of insurance work I assume.

Thanks for watching and commenting from all the way up in Nova Scotia. I always wanted to visit there ( along with many other places I can't afford to go to ) Yes it does get close at times. I've only hit one mirror so far and no damage to mine or his so no insurance invloved. If I did damage a mirror I'd just pay for it, as it would be my fault and skip going through insurance co. I'd have to hit hard with the bike to do any real damage to a vehicle. If that happened I'd probably get hurt also. Believe it or not I do take lots of care not to hit people. I edit out all the times I can't get through because of no room which happens everyday.

Riding in rain doesn't bother me, in fact I enjoy it like when I was a kid. Hey, always liked the sound of those pipes, what are they again?

I didn't use to mind the rain but now I wish it'd just rain at night and be sunny during the day The pipes are a cheap Chinese knock offs, copy of V&H short shots, off Ebay for half the price. They fit perfectly & the chrome was really good. I was surprised just how nice they are since they're cheap Chinese knock offs

The only part of rain I don't like if having to clean the bike. Knock offs sound great, H-D uses a lot of foreign parts anyway, they do sound good..

Banana Peels and Wheels don't mix very well. Last time I seen Wild E. Coyote run over a Banana Peel while roller skating, and it was off the cliff he went. Very Hazardous free falling after that, LOL. Ride safe RR.

I was imagining the same thing in my mind when I saw that banana peel. I could see myself sliding across the road just like in the cartoons lol. Luckily I saw it and avoided it so no cartoon crash. Thanks!
