Enjoyed the video.. It felt like a conversation with friends about cinematography while waiting in line for the Indiana Jones ride.

The short is looking great! If you end up getting a set of DZO Pavos, I'd love to see a comparison between them, as they sit at almost the same price

Glad to see a follow up on this set of lenses. Laowa was smart to send them your way. Another lens set I would love to see a review of is the Tokina Vista primes. They have been out for a bit, but I saw them on a streaming series and they looked fantastic. Keep up the great videos. Y’all are building up a library of awesome reviews. Thanks!

Our tokina vista ones are one of our personal favorite sets here. Little more character than standard vistas.

Thank you for the video! Would be amazing if you specified which lenses you used on each footage because I liked certain shots more than the others. 3:49, 5:01, 5:24 I'm interested the most in! What focal lengths did you use there?

Footage looks fairly crisp from centre frame to edge. Retains nice detail at wide open in the shadows n highlights too, assuming that was ur aperture setting. Looking at using a set on the Canon R5C FF with the 1.4X expander and filming on the Super 35mm sensor mode. Compared to a 21mm T2 Atlas Orion priced at $16.5k USD, for that price point i can get 2 Laowa Ana primes 😂

Excellent review/update. How would these do with the new Full-frame Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K? I know it can shoot in a S35 mode (sensor crop), but what would happen in this camera's 6:5 anamorphic mode with these...? Would you recommend these or the Pavos on the BMCC6K? thanks!

Depends on the anamorphic settings and what part of the sensor it uses. That being said worst case, an expander would give you best coverage.

We own masters at our shop. This may be the only set of anamorphics that gets close to the sharpness of the masters wide open. It’s a claim we make testing them back to back. One does not simply just make a claim like that.

@@John-e4p1x it’s dom. The main one on camera. They clearly aren’t the same. One is 45k one is 7k. But if you’re after sharpness, after the masters these may be the sharpest set available.
they were excited about a komodo x on set but the acting is fairly shitty

On the flip side of the coin, I thought the music was a fun departure from the typical KZitem channel music.
