I'm not sure what you mean by the "critical angle of safety". If I can see that the duct is clearly entering the gallbladder and it is cleared for a length of about 1 to 1.5 cm and the duct and its surrounding tissue are thin enough to be completely compressed by my .5 cm clips X 3 proximally and 1 distally then I feel that it is skeletonised enough. I base this not on any specific data but on my real world experience of 15 years in practice and my series of nearly 5000 lap cholecystectomies

This is my real job. That was a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. ( I removed a bad gall bladder )

Sir, very Nicely done, but I felt cystic duct needed to be skeletonised more and made devoid of the loose peritoneal fat, before clips were applied.. DNT u look for the critical angle of safety before clip application??
