The Kempton Steam Museum in London is home to the world's largest operating triple expansion steam engine. Infact they have two such engines in their museum, however only one is restored and operational. The two steam engines, each 20m high and weighing 1000 tons, are housed inside a grand Art Deco building, where they were installed in 1927-28 to supply North London with water. Each engine was capable of pumping 19 million gallons of water daily and ran 24 hrs a day, seven days a week.
This video shows the triple expansion steam engine being started and in full operation.
