Larry covered his dog's ears and said, 'you can't say that word in here, you'll frighten my poodle!' Larry - total comic genius. Love him!

What you saw was what you got. No acting, just a natural warm human being. He may of loved Torquey but the love of his home town was stronger and returned for the last few years of his life. he loved Nuneaton and the people of Nuneaton loved him

Love Larry Grayson. A unique comedian that isn't seen anymore, such warmth and love in what he did, no sweating or racism, just pure comedy from a sincere and wonderful Man. I have cried with laughter watching the generation game, can't get enough of watching him. I'm sure I can hear the angels pissing themselves with laughter on a quiet star lit nite. George Reid he was like that in person. He was a very generous person who did a lot of charity work for free in his home town of Nuneaton. In the pub he was just another customer and would chat and laugh with anyone who wanted to talk to him

Great upload. Both Laz and Terry at their peak here. Larry was always proud of his roots in Nuneaton, and he was very much loved for his kindness and sincerity.

Time has robbed these people away from us.. We should learn from this and appreciate those around us right now before they and we are robbed out of time too.. Dont dwell on sadness and disappointment.. Focus on that fact.. We will be gone.. One day soon..it comes quicker than we think.

So sad that Larry Grayson isn’t with us today. A very genuine and comedic individual who had such amazing talent. He could draw a laugh with just a purposeful look or a quick comment. He never resorted to swearing or some of the distasteful humour we find today. Despite being sorely missed, it’s great that there are so many recordings available of him, so we can continue to laugh with him today.

It's sad because now we have vile people like Graham Norton that ain't got a clue about comedy so have to be as rude as they can get away with just to shock. And all Norton jokes about is sticking something up your bum or other gay sex innuendos

Always remember watching him every Saturday night,he was so funny the whole family would be laughing, I would always remember my mum saying, he's not really is is to my dad 🤣🤣🤣,I'm 53 now and still makes me Laugh.

It's weird how random life is, the zeitgeist collision occured very late for him but somehow it had to be that way, he was like a hodge-podge of things familiar to audiences at the time, a bit Dr Finlay meets Katherine Hepburn meets Frankie Howerd but a genuinely warm sincere man which as he says is the key, widely loved and missed

I always notice that Larry at times sweats profusely. I wonder if it was the studio lights or a sign of social anxiety? Many people have social anxiety, even those in public life. He was a lovely man.

I too suffer from facial hyperhydrosis. It's embarrassing, because it's so noticeable PRIMARILY to me, then people feel the need to comment about it, which only makes the condition worse. Larry was obviously embarrassed by the sweating too...I'd suggest that our profuse sweating is caused by extreme social anxiety, sadly 😔

Nuneaton's finest. My dad once pointed out his house to me and showed me the flag he used to have up when he was in and down when he was out, a la her madge. I hadn't previously noticed how much he robbed from Frankie Howard.
