Yes, would greatly appreciate a video on the chess board and pieces using XCS. Love your videos!

an idea I got while watching this with the acrylic chess pieces is to put a LEDs under the board with wholes that send light up to the pieces to illuminate them. You could use RGB leds and the wiring would not be too hard to make. I work with LEDs for fun.

Yes!!! Please show a video on how you made the chess pieces with the xtool design space. There aren't many videos on how to use it's software.

Thanks for the video. None of them seem to be the standard 22inch square but it does give one a lot of different ideas

Yes! I would like a video on the software. I have an xtool s1 40w and 2w IR laser and I would love to see how this machine works with acrylic please. 😊 I would really like to make these games.

How much air assist do you use when cutting acrylic? I get a lot of acrylic fibers stuck to my laser cone and sometimes it even blocks the laser opening. I always heard to use minimal air when cutting acrylic but there has to be a better way. You make amazing products!

As one of the KZitemrs who seems to have used some of these XTool lasers the longest and most consistently, would you be willing to do a more long-term review? There have been several videos recently about issues with units after a month or so, and I’d love to hear from some users in the 2-6 month range.

I’ll definitely add that to the video list. I’ve had the P2 nine months and use it a ton. I’ve had the S1 and F1 about six months and have used them a lot as well. I’ve only had one small issue with the P2, that was solved easily with customer service. There’s actually really supportive Facebook groups for each of the xTool machines that have helped with troubleshooting. Any issues I’ve seen or heard about seem consistent with other woodworking tools I have. The user base is another huge asset for xTool. There are so many people who offer their ideas, tips, and more on social platforms. But nothing but great experiences for me from the machines and working with xTool.

How many layers did you make? The file is a little confusing. It doesn’t really say how to assemble. I know Mark is very helpful and supportive. Thought id ask you since I’m here.
