I wonder how long it will be until lashing robots are economical.
@EmptyZoo393
2 жыл бұрын
Depends how well they handle degraded equipment. Inside robots with known environments and no rust are very capable these days. Dealing with rusted fittings, faded labels, slippery surfaces, and the omnipresent effects of sea spray, all while on a bucking ship with the wind randomly hitting broadside? Whole different ballgame. I don't doubt there's a lot of potential, but it will be expensive enough it'll be a few years I suspect.

Why are you lashing the deck while the crane is loading very dangerous in Australia we don't lash until the crane is moving to another deck we never lash while the crane is operating on the deck as a pin could drop off and hit you and also the crane flipper could fall off. Be safe guys and don't let the company in danger your lives stay safe comrades.

IT for sure will see future aplication to make this operations automate and safer than ever, with the least human intervention on the scene but rather remotely. So in some sense your specialized area will soon be connected to lashing operations in the Word's major logistics hubs.

@@albert333pool here in nz , avg 40 hour weeks 48 weeks a year you're looking at between 55-75k NZD per year. depends on your company, union etc. between 25-34 NZD per hour. australians get roughly double that and all kinds of allowances like handjobs etc but they still cant figure out which castings to put the fucking below cones in 20 footers.

Looking at this video, I see the problem now.. Come to Jacksonville and this Video would be a Lil Darker..
