Is there any man in the NBA history who wasn't a superstar however who hit so many clutch shots then Mehmet Okur ?? Just watched his greatest hits when he played in Utah and man was hi incredible and money in crunch time! Even some of the superstars have never hit that may clutch shots , Okur just playing in Utah has hit so many and I mean so many big time shots that the video length is almost 17 minutes long just his clutch shots inside 2 min or less crazy to think if he was in today's NBA where 3 points is what every team wants let's say playing with James in Cleveland witch James being the passer he is Okur would be money money money imagine a line up in today's NBA in Cleveland , James, korver , Okur , Jr smith and Isaiah Thomas then they face of with warriors in the finals god damn that would be a dream come true yah gs has curry Durant Steph great shooter but then Okur same length as Kevin but if go % better 3 point shooter then kd , the Korver and steph my god what a shoot out that would be , and jr smith vs klay , of course green wouldn't be able to stop lebron unless they double but too many shooters around James so that wouldn't happen and then little man I Thomas , with Wade d rose , Channing fry and iman shump of bench . I'd bet 300k on cavs no way golden state bests clevland however that's only if that was the case . Let's face it only reason Kevin has a ring is cuz he joined golden state and the system with all the shooters with one great pick up in iggy their best defender ( who won MVP first time vs cavs holding lebron James to 36 ppg 8rpg 8 apg think about that he won the MVP ) anyway enough of the dreams Okur was great clutch player and if not for his injuries would have been even better too bad his career ended to fast just Like many others like T Mac , grand hill , penny H and many many more .

The reason why he couldn't be a superstar was his severe injuries at his prime. He left the league at a very young age, else he could be a legendary level like Ginobili, Gasol, Nowitzki etc. He and Stojakovic is two little disappointment considering their pure talents, but still veeeery solid players at their era which i lived my life with basketball everyday.

Haha, I didn't notice that while watching live. Although, if you count it off, using the regular clock, there would have still been 5 seconds on the shot clock when it left Okur's hands.

I know we are comparing different time periods here, but what if this Jazz team (mainly their big players, like Boozer, Okur, Kirilenko, Williams) played along Malone, Stockton, and Hornacek back in the 1990s? Would they have beaten the Chicago Bulls?

12 yrs later my Pistons still can't be the Jazz idk what it is about Utah but they own us. it doesn't matter if we play in Utah or Detroit the Jazz find a way to get it done.
