What a crazy and razor sharp edit! You raised the bar for travel vloggers and find the balance between all the different camera angles. Oh and by the way, the story in this video took me by the hand all the way to the end. I would say, bullseye 🎯

naww you guys!! Thanks so much! I did have a bit of fun with these edits! I was lucky enough to grab some footage from the commercial guys to let me have some more material to work with! I think across the 3 vlogs there was like 400GB of footage to go through haha!

Try Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Tibet if you are seeking stupendous landscapes. The border provinces have more to offer in terms of ethnic diversity, history and landscapes. For a sense of history, go Beijing. For a sense of future China, go Shanghai. For a sense of ethnic diversity (China is not just 1 ethnicity), go to the border provinces.

THE UNKOWN you can try to become a professional traveler. Study the culture and history of all the countries and places in the world, know a lot of languages, know the people, understand what to do and what not to, then film a lot of the fascinating. You may also know a lot of skills, fly a drone or even a real plane, drive a car or sail a boat, cook great dishes with any ingredients you can find around the world. You will be able to gather audience or even find sponsors to fund you doing it. You are young, try to prepare as much as you can, anything is possible.

You know what? You two really should try travelling in Tibet with a rented SUV, the environment there is really non-polluted and views are great, literally travel on top of the world feeling could be very awesome.(Tibet sits on the highest plain in the world, altitude at 5000+ meters). Just make sure you have a pair of very robust lungs for its lower than normal oxygen level atmosphere......

Hey guys, I'm going to china on Monday and was wondering what your doing for internet access and what do you recommend for researching while your away? Thanks and love your videos ❤️
@yufeiliu4448

In china you can't use google, Facebook or instagram, which is true. However, there are tons of apps you can use for search, communicate or navigation which are even better than them. Most of those apps have english version. My suggestion is that, find someone you know in China, or, ask someone around, let them recommend which apps you should get. For example, you can use Gaode Map (高德地图) for navigation, YoudaoDict (有道词典) for translation .
@yufeiliu4448

And usually most of the people don't speak English except for young people. Always ask those people when you have any questions, generally chinese are really really friendly and passionate. You can just ask someone (look for young people) down the street, they won't feel disturbed but very happy to be able to help.
@yufeiliu4448
7 жыл бұрын
And also, the biggest search engine is called baidu which is www.baidu.com. You can try search in english on it, it will give you some limited results as it is designed for Chinese.

Stephen's comment at 5:54 about a 'boy band'. I swear that the first time I saw Stephen in a vlog I thought. " That guys was in that boy band from the late 1980s", then I realized that he was not even born then! I did laugh at myself. :-)

@toddlucas1550
7 жыл бұрын
Well, I would have to say in my mind's eye Stephen briefly reminded me of a conglomerate of boy band members who worn a longer top knot of curly hair, but that was only a brief thought as I was still stunned by the first sight of you Miss Jess. I think it was a vlog right after you both had arrived in California. I really never followed 'boy bands' as I am an ole time rock and roller. I had long hair that at one point reach my butt. It was short by the time I was seventeen when I decide to become a Fireman. Later on I chose to study Cosmetology. It was me and 30 ladies mostly from North Charleston S. C. It was quite an education. As for you two I became hooked on your vlog channel from that very day and have watched and shared your videos.

Thank you, sir. My imagination about China is just very different. Communist country to me is an oppression. Whatever shown here is not oppression. It looks like free market society to me. I've known so many people whose ancestors had run away from China to live in other countries in Southeast Asia.
@bd8594
7 жыл бұрын
From my point of view, the political structure has noting to do with the economy structure, and this means that the market society is not the privilege of the capitalism. As for the Chinese living in Southeast Asia, they went there not because they were "oppressed" by the communism but they wanted to make money there about 100 years ago.

@@therabbitnews9362 Because China is not Communist, it's actually more free than Western countries in reality but Western propaganda has gotten people here to be more brainwashed than those in North Korea, the scariest part is they don't realize it.
