As in I had to take at least a double digit amount of pills daily to not have withdrawals & feel like I was dying, vomiting, etc. Idk if this song made it easier or harder to quit. “I can’t face the evening straight, you can offer me escape, houses move & houses speak, if you take me then you’ll get relief…..”

I wrote a poem inspired by this song I cannot keep up I cannot face the evening straight Hoping for an escape How long will I run away? I might completely disappear Till then I would walk Head towards no-where Cry that I am now-here Wandering on shallow waters Wondering if I can drown Drown into daydreams Daydreams of the blind. I wonder what I would see No rainbows there for sure. Devoid of colour, Void in me I don’t want that. But you, You foolishly believe These daydreams move. You can hear the daydreams speak If you take me there you will get relief. Then I would be dead And you can offer your last flowers. -a
