I found your channel in the very begging and thought you guys were crazy. After following you for two years I’m 100% certain. 😜 I did’t understand why you replaced the companionway door, she had at least another 15 minutes of life in her. And now...the fun part...enjoy!!!

Pearson made their own hand rails, usually on 13 inch centers (where the ones you buy are on 12 inch centers). In order to reuse the old holes you would have had to make new rails the same as the old ones. There's something to be said for just buying them off-the-shelf, filling the old holes (especially if you're painting anyway) and drilling new holes.

Glad to get to watch your videos again. Ive been up North working for the last 2 months and endured 2 storms in Charleston ( boat did, not me). I'm trying to get into NC where slip rental is cheaper. The work never ends. Looks like yall are making good progress. Hope to see yall again, maybe this time in the Islands.

Just finished watching all your episodes during the last few days. It’s been fun and very informative. Love watching you two development all the way. Surely you both have a lot of things to do along the way the next season, which I’d love to see as well. Much more TLC to the both of you from Holland. Yea, that’s the Netherlands of course. Ta, ta, for now 👋 Chey

Thanks Joe! We actually found Saoirse in Stuart, at the Chapman Seamanship sailing school. I would suggest SCOURING the internet and keeping the look on. Check out the local sailing schools or clubs for learning, that would be the best place to start.

Hi guys! Glad to see you are out on the water now :) You mentioned that you used Chevy Volt batteries for your motor. As you probably know by now your arms will be hurting next day. Reaching overhead for that long is hard. As a professional painter using a pole on that roller & keeping arms down between waste & shoulders really makes a difference . It looks good now ,just a FYI for future.

I live aboard a 1969 pearson 35, and I have the exact same hatch boards as you (although the previous owner did a MUCH better job of keeping them looking good). Those are likely the originals. (50 some odd years old...)

Great job. Been bing watching you, Soulianis, Zatara, Atticus, Zingaro, Patrick Childress, etc. So been thinking about this for along time (decade), what were your monthly expenses while on hard doing repairs? In slip? Minus parts. Looking for yard fees. What do they offer? Work space? Tools? Sorry to ramble. Just lots of questions. Thanks

Wow! We can even see in the video the new paint makes a huge difference! Nice job. :) Those two new companion way hatches seem like a great fit too. Did you consider making two identical ones but routing out a space in the middle of them to put screens? (This was a hot topic a while back on other sailing KZitemrs boat updates.)

@@BeauAndBrandy so a pre-requisite before buying a used, needs work boat, is acquiring a drill, grinder, cutting tools and all the various attachments that go with them. What does your onboard tool box consist of, your must have tools before going offshore?

I came over (and subb'd) after catching you on UMAs weekly upload 10/10/18. Binge watched all your episodes but failed to see anything with your bio's. Who has the Irish lineage that came up with Saoirse? How'd you two meet? Great wedding, albeit 10+ years ago. A fair number of sailors still have a revenue source, are either of you two still working or is your revenue all You Tube/Patreon? I guess I'm asking for a little history about you but of course you're not obligated to provide any. I'll keep following you anyway, even if only to hear Brandy'd cheerful voice at the end of each video. Stay safe :-)
