Mongolia, a vast land of 1.5 million square kilometres is the last bastion of nomadism, where its frigid winter threatens both man and beast. Conditions can change radically between two moons.
Moto, a Mongolian breeder, faces a numbing chill every day to feed the animals which otherwise cannot access food due to heavy snow. He is one of the few nomadic herders who have remained in the Mongolian steppe, while many others have moved to the city, seeking easier living conditions.
