If I can blow a bunch of money on weddings, why can't I also have a series of expensive divorces? I'm picturing a sort of Zeno's paradox where I repeatedly lose half my money and property, continually approaching but never reaching bankruptcy.

Matt loves you Quintin! He's your truest love. What is it going to take for you to open your eyes and just see it?!!! It's time for you to grow up and stop horsing around. Matt's not going to wait forever and you don't want to wake up to see him cooking lunchtime eggs for someone else...

Loved how you guys give the run down of the game and including the acting bits, now could we get a sequel to this with The Prodigals Club?

I used to love Go For Broke back when I was like 6 or so, this might be a fun way to revisit that without accidentally destroying my nostalgic view of that old game.

Thank you for at least mentioning this glaring clash between Victorian morals/law and contemporary norms of representing/thinking about gender. These little differences (such as the awareness of colonialism with re: Istanbul) make SU&SD a go-to site for the thinking geek.

It's set in a time when women didn't really inherit large fortunes, so it's unlikely that one would be among the potential recipients.

Lets be honest. It's far more likely you'd see a horse at a dinner table than a woman inheriting a large fortune.

@johny well said even if it was actively intended to be sexist, a sexist clock is still right twice a day?
@johnyramble

That makes no sense (even as a metaphor). And I wasn't being sexist. I was just commenting on Quinns' remark about the lack of women. Women weren't allowed to inherit. The horse thing is a reasonable counter argument but you know how fantasy shows based on medieval England don't show tomatoes because they hand't been brought from the new world (for the sake of historical accuracy) yet still feature talking dragons? Same thing.
