Young people watching late night television these days cannot begin to imagine how amazing this show was. Comparing it to today comedic wise is about the distance from here to the moon

Conan had a massive influence on my sense of humor. During the summer while school was out, I would stay up every single night and watch every episode I could. Miss those days. I’m going back to 1997, who’s coming with me?

After 2001 for me but I started to become more attracted to his show when Comedy Central ran older episodes. Triumph the insult comic dog, masturbating bear, Frankenstein wasting a minute of time, Walker Texas Ranger lever, and the video interviews with Smigel as celebs and politicians were must see segments in my opinion.

Every once and a while I come to KZitem and find a Late Night with Conan O'Brien intro to watch. Just brings back memories of the best damn late night show to ever hit the airwaves. Hard to describe the feeling I would get hearing this intro, knowing I'm about to watch some hilarious, fucked up shit. Love you, Conan.

As a music major back in those days, other music major friends and I would congregate in my apartment just to hear this intro (especially Pender’s high G to the A at the end) and then watch and laugh with Conan. I blame this awesome band for getting me into watching comedy.
