Laura, I just love the containers and flowers used in your arrangements!!! STUNNING!!! Since I've become a loyal subscriber - I'm a tad obsessed with learning how to do containers and irrigation, which is completely out of my comfort zone. I'm so inspired every morning before I go to work and after work. We live in a zone 9, so between the sun, wind, and chasing my umbrella's in the backyard it gets pretty CRAZY, but I love to garden and watching everything you produce on a daily.

Oh yes, I love random planters, I love ones that have color and are just fun to have in your garden, thank you so much for sharing this video, it was so fun to watch and gave me a whole bunch of ideas and inspiration to try some of my own. I usually never have a set plan for my pots in my yard, I just pick plants that I know will go together and have lots of fun colors, I just love a lot of pots lining my front walk in my tiny yard. I love the dwarf sunflower it is so cute, and I have used it in my pots before, and Russell is so stinking cute, with his mittens it makes him just adorable! Thank you once again Laura. I can't wait till the next video!

I LOVE these containers! Makes me anxious for fall! Thanks to your terrific instructions and inspiration in past videos, I have taken the plunge and now have all my beds, vegetable garden, everything except the containers on my deck, all on drip and I LOVE it! I decided to wait and do the deck this fall when I'm changing out things. It's so much easier to just keep tabs than to do all that watering oneself. Thank you so very much, Laura!

These irrigation videos are so helpful for me! Not only personally because I have some drippers in my garden but because I work at Bunnings (a hardware/homeware store in Australia) and I always get so overwhelmed when I'm asked for help in the irrigation aisles! No amount of online training is as good as your explanations 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have 3 cats. They find everything I do fascinating (I think it’s mostly due to them questioning my intelligence on the daily), & they seem to think that whatever it is I’m working on, is specifically for their enjoyment! Just like Russell: Oh, I get it, Mama! You made this pot of dirt for me to lay in. I take it all back- you are super smart! I need to get drip going like you have. Gotta talk hubby into it (he hates doing all things landscaping, especially when they cost $, which is basically everything). You’ve really helped me be more imaginative w/pot arrangements. I’ve got some great ideas for next year thanks to you! Plus, you’ve introduced me to some plants I hadn’t heard of & that’s always a bonus! It’s helpful that even though I’m in zone 9b central CA, my town’s topography gives us a high desert Summer climate like yours. So when you’re making full sun late summer planters like these, I know it’s pretty safe to say it’s gonna make it here too. Anyway, thanks for sharing the awesome time spent w/pretty plants & adorable kitty! It’s a winning combo!

Laura you are a true artist! The colors you combine are so striking and interesting that I always love your plantings even when they are sometimes with plants I 'think' are not my favorites. Lol or ones I wouldn't necessarily pick up at the nursery. However when you combine them they transform into something magical! So thank you for pushing me outside my plant 'comfort zone' and inspiring me to try some different plants!

I absolutely love the dwarf sunflowers in this container arrangement along with the beautiful coleus! Hummm... guess I'll have to play with my planters more instead of just leaving the plants in them that I started with in May. I am a fairly new subscriber to your You-Tube channel and I also live in a zone 5 in eastern Nebraska, but we have more rain and humidity than where you live. By the way, I've been watching lots of your older videos ...just watched one you filmed in December 2016 on Succulents. Love seeing all of your videos. Laura, you do a great job explaining how to do the drip. I'm that guy out in the summer with a flashlight beating the summer sun/heat. I'd like to go this route for some of my picky plants (I have been reducing lawn over the last few years, and adding plants). Where does the water come from? Do you take over a sprinkler head/zone? Or do you have them on their own zone? Or is it straight from a faucet? Thank you!

Russell C I'm right there with you. Laura, can you list the drip product you use where you slso list the flowers used. I can't get my water to travel up the pot. Do the emitters draw the water up or is it lack of presssure.
@wendycash54
6 жыл бұрын
The water should have no problem with normal pressure getting up the pot. From previous posts, I know that most of the parts Laura gets are from Home Depot. I get mine there as well. Russell, I think she has several areas where they have faucets. You can do splitters to get more zones out of a single faucet.
