Up here around Montreal they already started to push up on shallow rock, less than 10 feet. Water temp around 70 degrees. Gotta check the weed lines for sure next time!! 😉🤙

Love your videos! Fun and informative. I found a few on Pelican (Orr) in 20ish feet off of main lake rock humps. Jig and shiners.

Appreciate the content so much and the links as well. Living in Southern Illinois, I only get up to the North country to fish for walleyes a couple of times a year. I definitely need all the help I can get.

Ok I need to ask: lakes that are very clear, how much does that affect your decisions on where to look on a given day? I’m sure that you fish tons of different lakes with varying degrees of water clarity. On the Whitefish chain and Crosslake for instance, I was told that these lakes are clear and fish tend to be deeper than other lakes. Any idea if that is true?

Whitefish chain is a tricky one...there's SO many fish out there, but man can they be picky some days! We got lucky and won our local walleye league out there 2 weeks ago (Aug 20) and most of our fish came from a couple spots that set up EXACTLY like the weededges in this video. Roughly 16-18' where the weeds were tapering off, but we also caught a couple up top in that 10-12' range. Have to put up with a ton of bass, pike, and panfish in the process tho lol.

@@TargetWalleye ok, thank you for your response. Any help is greatly appreciated! I struggle every year and I know that I over-think things, but on a chain that large, with so much water it’s incredibly difficult to narrow it down! I watch a ton of videos but can never make the transition from video to my chain of lakes!
