Just getting back into wood turning after many years, having to start from scratch. I have several options for safety glass but just recently have been considering a face shield. You mentioned one of the options I am looking at. Thanks for the video.

Cap'n, you are dead on right about the need for shop safety. Face shield use when turning and other activities is an absolute must. Unfortunately some of us, myself included, fail to heed those wise words from time to time. Thank you for the reminder. I will try harder to keep myself safe.

I do these videos to share info and beliefs on woodturning. Bob send me a response which ended in "Every safety rule is written in Blood". Thanks Bob, truer words have never been spoken.

the what-ifs - before I energize any tool, I think of what I'm cutting and where anything else that might fly away might go. >Every safety rule is written in blood.
