How it's made, a type of taper attachment that doesn't require to disassemble the driving nut from the cross slide of the lathe when needing to make tapers. Since my good friend Philippe and I needed to perform some maintenance on the lathe, in order to fix a few irregularities when turning and since the mechanical parts were exposed, we decided to show in details the way it works.
There aren't many videos available showing details of that type of attachment, we hope that this will shed some light on the functionnal principles.
