Thanks for sharing this, it’s a great combination for hanging your equipment in the tree . Keep making these videos, I really enjoy your perspective on equipment.

I can’t keep my latitude gear strap tight. Any weight I put on it, it pulls loose (bow or pack). I am using the Genesis hangers.

What I have done to help that is. I always attach my backpack first then Bow. The weigh of the bow offsets the bow. BUT another thing I have done is once I pull the strap tight I put twist in the tail right at the buckle which keeps it from pulling thru. Let me now if that helps.

Been using the latitude strap for 2 years. My complaint with the moveable eyelets compared to fixed eyes is sag…. They pull quite a bit. If you are a kydex clip user , like for a bow hanger etc….. it’s not gonna fall per say, but you have to keep an eye on it also on thick barked trees like a willow or old white oak, once the strap is very tight you basically can’t move the eyes. On smoother trees you can. Sometimes it seems as if the fixed eyes are the way to go…. But I’m not gonna buy a different one over a small inconvenience like that. Other than that it’s a very minimalistic strap which I like. I too am fed up with the hero clip . I’ve gotten used to my bow just resting against the tree , which can be noisy depending on the bark . I made a kydex clip hanger the other day that how I figured the eye sag thing out ….. it’s a little too much sag for me. The clip also made the bow twang a little when shooting it so I don’t thing I’m gonna go that route .

That’s some good information. I’ve kept three gear loops on, but I very rarely use them. I use the fixed gear loop close to where you connect the J-hook.

Good video, as always. In my opinion, the best feature of being able to raise and lower your pack, is that you can 'knee-into' your backpack, so you don't need knee pads. The Latitude strap was my best new piece of gear last year.

I started using knee pads instead of my backpack because in MO I had to turn and make an aggressive shot downward into a ravine. I was pushing off with my knee on my backpack in the backpack slid against the bark making a noise. It alerted the buck and he stopped on the trail he was walking and took a different trail. It pretty much cost me. I have a video on it on the channel. Even though that is an extreme case, it still happened and I was like, that’s not going to happen again! LOL! I agree… it’s a cool strap! Thx for stopping in!

Absolutely! I mentioned that in my video comparison between the Tethrd kneepads and trophy line kneepads. I actually show a clip of the buck coming in and the noise that was made.

Can you / do you leave the bow hanger on your strap?
@platinumpursuitoutdoors

Yes, I did a little modification to my bow hanger, which was really easy so that it can never fall off of the strap. I just leave it attached all the time.
