Jamess, not subscribed yet (perhaps I will). About the "project", great idea using scrapwood instead of "blinding" the back of the unit. About the "curl-outs" of the nails ...... these things happen. It often happens when the stapler is used in the slightly wrong position. About the video ....... very clear footage. Greetings from the Netherlands (a beginner (wanna-be) woodworker).🙂

I appreciate that you enjoyed the video. I learned so much from my Dad when I was a child. He was an electrician by trade, but he was good at woodworking. I watched and learned. I also watched my mother cook, and I Love to cook. Thank you for taking the time to view my channel.

@@jamescarpentercountryliving James, thanks for the reply. One of the things I'm not happy with, are the prices of wood nowadays. As a retired person I have to make choices what to do with my money so scrap lumber (or pallet lumber) is something to gather for all kind of projects. As for having a father which teached me woodworking ...... no, he didn't had that in him. Woodworking (and cooking) I learned by myself by "just doing/trying" it. Btw I promised to subscribe, so I did. I hope I'm one of many still to come. See you with the next project.

The prices of everything in the U.S. are skyrocketing. When I was young, I didn't have much money, so I learned how to look for scrap materials. Now that I am old, I have the money to buy things, yet I still use my skill of finding scrap and putting it to good use.
