hairlesshead Isn't the music just beautiful :) Well I have a friend in Iran of all places and she plays piano... I wanted her to hear this beautiful piece and also understand how beautiful a story these words tell. If you look for me under the new comments the translation is there. (well, I tried :) I don't know where you are from, maybe you understand a bit listning to afrikaans but don't speak it. Regardless, there's the translation :)

Liewe Laurika My naam is Oech en ek is so hartelik, onvoorwaardelik verlief op jou musiek. As ek huil in die aand dan luister ek net na een van jou liedjies en ek word terug gevat na toe ek 5 was en jy die antwoord was vir als. Stille water en diepe grond soos in my hart Laurika. Jy is die begin en einde van my smart. xoxo. Eugene Oech

00:16 You said our love, would stand solid without motion Even if all the mountains, should tumble into the ocean Do me a small favor, just before you leave this devotion Toss for me a small stone, a small stone into the ocean 00:51Who shall this love, understand so soon? Closer than a heart beat, further than the moon There is a time to arrive, and a time to leave This I read somewhere but, how will I ever understand. 1:25 See the crescent moon slowly sinking Into the stillness of the ocean CHORUS 1:40 Still the waters, deep the ground Down below the devil, below the devil lurks around 2:02 Maybe love is just a - fantasy, It’s not all moonshine and roses you see For a little while you were, by my side Did you love me a just a little, a little that you did so hide? 2:37 Maybe there’s a place, for just us two Far beyond the mountains, of the moon 2:52 And when the moon rises again, remembering as I do That for a little while, I also loved you too 3:12 For a little while, I also loved you too This is a translation (as best I could to just quickly listen and type) It is for them to understand the words of the lyrics that were written so well in this song. The music is already so beautiful and I believe that understanding the meaning of this amazing song makes it even a bit more special also. Feel free to let me know if there's parts I can translate with better words. But it's not meant to be for singing it in English :) All words (even translated) I credit to the artist and writer of this song)

Hey mate, you can just delete my comment and edit this into yours but here's a bit more of a grammatical translation: You said our love would stand strong Even if all the mountains crumble/tumble into the ocean. Do me favor, before you go Throw a pebble, a pebble into the ocean for me Who can really ever understand (this thing called) love. Closer than a heartbeat Further than the moon There is a time to come, and a time to go. This is what I've read, but how will I ever really understand. And look...how the cresent moon sets Into the Pacific (also means silent/still, double meaning) ocean. Still waters run deep (translated idiom, literal: still waters deep ground) Below lurks the devil (literal: Below the devil turns around) Maybe love is just a, fantasy It's not all moonlight and roses For a little while, you were beside me Were you just a little, just a little bit in love with me? Maybe there's a place for us two together Far beyond the mountains...on the moon And when the moon rises (again), I'll remember: For a little while, I was just a little bit in love with you For a little while, I was just a little bit in love with you
