@@lynnea4782 Hello, when sick and weakened and additionally so by maltreatment in health care and social security workers who were put to help provide me personal assistence for complex Aspergers and difficult health and social state, (severe Anchylosing Spondylitis) -ending by unlawful taking of my very home, legal rights and money/savings/private loan and my small sick pension, for no valid reason but want of control and stealing putting unlawfully deceptively a dishonest and abusive Guardian instead of the Good Man I applied for and was granted by the court, what can I do to regain my personal safety, property, rights and damages? As well as getting the help I have needed and worked to get for 39 years? I got late diagnosis and applied for assistence in 2008 after 24 years of hardships and disease without help, and it is now already 5,5 years since they stole my home etc. I have been merely surviving, trying to manage my new illnesses, sleeplessness, terror, destitution, homelessness, the lies from doctors, working to manage the torture (deceptions)anxiety, deadly stress, fear, anger. They seem to hate me but never talked with me or let me know. All I have done is fight for my basic needs and rights, working as well I could without support and a lawyer. They co-worked making other help places be with them, preventing me from getting help and shelter, free legal help etc, in order to force me to some institution home and control me. Please help or advise me, I want to save my life and start living it. Innumerable actors have done a little or part, harm each, and i think maybe most don't even know the truth but have been told untrue things about me, in order to be persuaded to harm me.Or some social workers are taught to do harm as part of their job, although they don't seem genuinely wicked themselves. I wasn't given a real lawyer but was too exhausted/ sleep deprived and traumatized + alone to stand my ground protesting. It is not legal to make someone go to court in such a sleep deprivation and sickness? What can I do when even the courts played along with them, ignored the state I was harmed into, and lack of lawyer? The court even lured me there when I was in a treatment home and very sick, promising me support and help to get my flat back. In reality , I was attacked psychically, got no support, and was stolen 140 dollars for it, which they had not told me cost anything at all. I cannot imagine it cost , or at least I should have been informed, right? My family and friends deny and disbelieve, it seeming too horrible to be true.It scares them so they shut eye. I should be very grateful for your good advice, information or help.

Thank you so much for this video. I’m studying public policy and have to use Westlaw to do a research paper right now. Was stressing so I watched this video. You addressed all my concerns and reassured me I’m doing the right thing! Research takes time, so I’m learning to be patient. Thank you for the good information!

I mean this is really cute and all, but what if you work for a single attorney who does not have Lexis? I mean, if you have Lexis, why would you need to watch a video on how to do legal research?

Be wary of Quebec though. They follow the civil system. It is the common law system which uses legal precedent as the foundation for judicial decisions. The civil system is a bit different.
