Love ❤ the blocks. That Fall/ pumpkin blocks threw me off, I would of saved that for another project...I have a lot of large print fall fabrics, so I will do this try this with them only I will be using a solid stripe in the centers to go along with the prints ( sunflowers will get a yellow or green stripe, the pumpkins will get a orange or brown or green stripe whatever matches the best)...my ocd😮😮😮 gets in the way! of my scrappy ideas.. But Thank You for sharing this block idea with us, a must do block.❤

I really appreciate you stopping by! Yeah, those orange fall blocks..... odd ducks for sure. But I didn't have enough to do anything else with, or the desire to use them elsewhere, so I just said WHATEVER and forged ahead. Once it was all together I loved it!

Love the clip method of tracking your rows!!!

So glad! I can't tell you how many times I would sew two rows together the wrong way, and not discover until the quilt top was done!! So this works pretty well. However, I think I might take a sharpie and write a number on a clip, like one clip that says "9" rather than 9 clips! HA.

Love your tutorial, you’re very organised 😃 🌺 but I really don’t like the music, it’s unnecessary in a sewing video. I would have liked to subscribed but having to mute all the time is annoying.

I love this idea! It makes a beautiful, easy, fast quilt. I think it would work with different size squares too. 8 inch squares could be cut into two 3 inch strips and one 2 inch strip. 5 inch squares could be cut into two 2 inch strips and one 1 inch strip.

I enjoy your channel so much and I especially like that you video your actual sewing on your machine. I had to laugh when I watched this because I'm in the process of making a very similar pattern. I used different measurements and my middle strip is (4) 2 1/2" squares and then 2 1/2" strips on the sides and top and bottom but I'm turning them like you did. Looking forward to more videos :)

Love your block! So simple and pretty!! Did you know that instead of cutting blocks after you've started sewing the rows together, you can sew 1 to row 2. Instead of cutting ...you start at the top again open up and start adding row 3 to row 2 ...it's called webbing!!! Much easier,!! Search Terry Rowland splash colour quilt and she shows you how to do it ...saves time!! Just thought this might be helpful?? Thank you for a great idea!!!

This is a brilliant way to use up 10” squares from previous projects. Also, you can make the quilt any size you want. And since there are no matching seams it would be a quick quilt to put together. I have a plastic bin full of leftover 10” squares that are now calling my name! 😂 loved the video! ❤

A very cute quilt. I’m 73 and a new quilter. I just discovered Layer Cakes. I have three that I’d like to make for my granddaughters, but I need to finish a couple of jellyroll tops first. I’m just straight line quilting them. I’m learning so many tips. I like your suggestion using g the little clips, and I ordered me a little cutter to trim thread when chain piecing. I also enjoyed your music. I’m glad I found your channel.❤️✝️🍁🍂
