A new dish from Lazy Kitchen, beef brisket stewed with tomatoes. The soup is sweet and sour, and the beef brisket is so juicy and tender.
There is no need to stir-fry it separately, just cook it in one pot. For those people who are too lazy to wash the pot like me, there is no other difficulty except leaving it and waiting.
Once the ingredients are put away, it’s time to sit back and enjoy the food.
ingredient:
beef brisket 750g
ginger 1
tomato 4
potatos 2
onion 1
carrot 1
spice mix powder 1 pack
salt 5g
sugar 1 tablespoon
brown cooking soy sauce 1 tablespoon
soy sauce 3 tablespoon
cooking wine 2 tablespoon
spring onion for garnish
Steps:
1. Cut the beef brisket into large pieces, wash it and soak it in water for 30 minutes to remove the blood.
2. Pour cold water into the pot, add ginger slices, cooking wine, and spice mix powder packet, cook until the water boils, and remove the floating foam.
3. Use a pressure cooker to cook for half an hour. If you don’t have a pressure cooker, you can skip this step.
4. Cut the carrots, potatoes, onions and tomatoes, then add them into the soup.
5. Add soy sauce and brown cooking soy sauce to soup, bring to a boil over high heat, cover the pot, turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
6. Add potatoes and continue cooking for half an hour.
7. You can add salt and sugar to taste in the end.
8. Garnish with chopped green onion and enjoy the delicious food.
