Today we are preparing lazy stuffed cabbage!
When there is cabbage and minced meat in the fridge, we usually cook stuffed cabbage. It's tasty. But I decided to simplify your life a bit and share a recipe for lazy stuffed cabbage with rice. The taste is almost the same, and it takes much less effort and time. In general, everything, as always, is simple!

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Time to cook stuffed cabbage in the oven: 45-50 minutes
Ingredients for cooking lazy cabbage:
• Figure 125 g
• Water 250 g
• Onions 1
• Carrots 1
• Butter 50-70 g
• Small white cabbage ½ head
• Minced veal or assorted 500 g
• Ground coriander ½ tsp.
• Tomatoes in their own juice 400 g
• Cream 200 g
• Sunflower oil 2-3 tbsp. l.
• Salt pepper
How to cook lazy stuffed cabbage:
We cook fig. To do this, rinse 125 g of rice very well and fill it with cold water in a ratio of 1: 2. Add a little salt and cook for 5 minutes under a closed lid after boiling. Remove from the heat and leave for 15 minutes for the rice to cook.
Meanwhile, prepare other ingredients for lazy cabbage rolls with rice and cabbage. You can use ready-made ground beef / veal or assorted / homemade. And you can cook it yourself from lean pork, you will need 500 g. Onions (1 pc.) Cut into small cubes. Grate carrots (1 pc.) On a large grater, ½ pcs. cabbage cut into small pieces with a knife.
Melt 50-70 g of butter in a pan and allow the onion to become soft and transparent. Add the carrots to the pan and simmer for 3 minutes. Add the shredded cabbage and stew everything together until the cabbage is soft for 5-7 minutes to make the stuffing juicy and tender. Stewing time depends on the variety of cabbage. Try it and simmer a little longer or a little less than the specified time. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Combine chilled rice, minced meat and roast. Add to the stuffing ½ tsp. ground coriander.
Mix thoroughly and form small lazy cabbage rolls with rice and cabbage in the shape of oblong cutlets. Grease a ceramic baking dish 2-3 tbsp. l. sunflower oil and spread the lazy cabbage rolls in one layer very close to each other.
To fill, combine pre-chopped tomatoes in their own juice (400 g) with 200 g of sour cream. Add salt and pepper, mix well.
Fill the form with lazy stuffed cabbage with the resulting mixture. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
