This is fucking unbeliveable. Why did i even suppose, that they have found a solution to people with an unvenen refresh rate to run smooth. At some point i thought that they use something like madvr frame blending FOR SURE, NO WAY THEY JUST DONT GIVE A FUCK. But all this fucking time i have been watching THIS. At some point i recognize my iphone run a video better than my 165hz monitor, so i came here. They are pure evil, you have to look after everyting to the very miserable fucking detail or it will be fucking fucked

This is to anyone with a monitor that has gsync enabled : If you are seeing stuttering in this video that happens at intervals, for example once every 7 seconds / once every 17 seconds, try disabling gsync in the nvidia control panel and also set your refresh rate to 60 or 120. Close the web browser and relaunch this video.

@@HeavyMetalGamingHD Username checks out. The fact that plasma died doesn't make it inferior to OLED. OLED is not the future, it's just a placeholder for either microLED or dual layer LCD. Neither of which is pulse-driven or uses phosphor to create light = neither one of them will have as good colors and motion as CRT or plasma.

Damn. Pause at any point and you can see that every frame is pin-sharp but my 43" Samsung AU9000 (serving as monitor and general entertainment screen) makes a mess of it - just about readable text at the middle speed (but plenty of blur), pretty much gone at the fastest pan. This with the input labelled as PC, with any of the stupid "enhancements" that remain enabled turned off. Now I realise just how unlike the source signal what it's displaying actually is (movies, but games as well). I kind of assumed that LCD's might have advanced enough to have mostly sorted this latency issue out by now, how naive. Sigh.

Yes, Oled has perfect pixel response time, so you will see more judder. Better tech sadly shows the flaws in the material more. Also, if you activate TruMotion at any setting above "Deblur 3" it will make things even worse.

@@vladasss You just need to look at the specs. Pixel switching with OLEDs is a lot faster than with any type of LCD panel. The effect you are seeing is likely related to something else. Might be afterglow due to the strong contrast, might even be your eyes tricking you.

Your Monitor is LCD. In this video, you won't be able to watch the text clear and crisp all the time. It's normal on any LCD. I don't think is ghosting what you see, just the blur of the Motion resolution.

Greatest Squrriel normal, Cathode Ray Tube TV don’t use the same refresh rate technology, one use’s Interpolation, and the refresh rate is much higher than a Liquid Cristal Display does, why ? Because LCD screens do progressive scanning instead of interpolation, which means, 1080 -> P : Progressive scanning = 1 complete frame a second, while you can see on good ol’ CRT 480i -> interlaced : 1/2 frame per scan line in one second, then, the other half of the display is lit the same way, and then, the cycle is re-done, which explains the higher refresh rate\smoothness of the video. It could also be because of the pixel response time of you LCD being slower then your CRT. OR, last of all, the video as been uploaded without the best manners of encoding, which means : dropped frames can occur and that would reason for the laggy video. If you’ve got any other question about the subject, don’t be afraid to ask me your question, Technologies are kinda my forte.
