@ThePullUpKing, Thanks so much for this walkthrough. This was the only video I could find for my year/make Accord and it helped me successfully remove the old and install a new power steering pump. I spent more time prepping/researching than I did to do the actual work. I did manage to lose my 3/8" 12mm shallow socket somewhere along the way :*) One tip I have for others is to make sure you take PLENTY of pictures and videos from all angles of every pulley and tensioner with the serpentine belt on before you remove it. Even though I did this it still took me maybe 30 minutes to figure out how it all went back on. A diagram is helpful too just to verify. I appreciate you!!

thanks for this. I'm having a hard time getting that bottom bolt off. I'm wondering if it makes sense to pull the pulley before taking off the old pump. Would that allow me to loosen that bottom bolt from the pump?

No problem. I'm sure it's more than one way to do it. This is just how I did it.

There was a technical service bulletin for the o-ring on this car. Your leak was probably just a ring on that line to the pump from the reservoir.

Interesting. His rack & pinion started leaking after that. He never called me back ti replace it.

My bad. I was so quick to reply. I thought this video was of an impala I did.lolsmh But yeah, that's interesting. It hasn't leaked since I replaced it, luckily. Unless he just didn't call me back out. I appreciate that info.

I’m a newbie… so your advice is appreciated. It seems like that engine mount is in the way so I wondered if taking the pulley off makes sense???

If the steps I'm showing you don't work, you gotta find the best way for you bro.

If you think that will work, try it out. You won't know unless you try.

My tensioner pulley would not lose its tension.. I tried everything. Had to take the pulley beside that one to get the belt off. Ordered a new tensioner pulley

Did you have to use an impact wrench to remove and install the nut on the pulley?

How did you get the nut off of the pulley? And how tight do you have to put it back on?
