It is not hard, all that happened is that as we interracted with other tribes during migration, our dilect changed

"Kop - Ango" in Kenyan Luo Changes to Na - Ango'. But you must also remember that Kenyan Luo has so many ways of greeting not just Ichiewo Nade - which loosely translate to "How have you woken up" - that cannot be greeting. The real greeting in the morning should be "iru or iru nade". Then there are so many greeting depending on your moods 1. Koro 2. Nade 3. Idhi nade 4. Nang'oo 5. Amosi 6. Mirembe (Although this is borrowed from Bantus)

Mirembe is not part of Luo, Morning greetings isn't Koro,Nango. Morning greeting is Ichiew Nade ,which to then is Ici Nining ...it's us who desrupted it.but sound the same. Cause for instance they say Acel and we say Achiel...if you listen to them when they pronounce Acel ,it sound exactly as Achiel

@@mcpaultv4028 and mirembe is part of greeting especially in Siaya where I come from. Usually used during a gathering. Like religious gatherings or even funerals. For example its not uncommon to hear people say "mirembe uru jo kristo. Mirembe kendo" . And the reply is usually "mirembe ahinya" . Unlike the luhya mirembe which I think is replied as "mirembe mno". (Not so sure about the luhya reply though)

The alphabet in Acholi is different from that of luo in Kenya. "Ico" is Ichiew and "nining" is nade. "C" cannot stand alone in luo of kenya but must have "h" with it.

Good video, but misleading. For instance, there is no greeting like, "Otyeno ni/wu tye nining". It remains, "Irii/Wurii ni'ning (ning-ning)".

Douglas Olum that seems closer to us in Kenya: we say ' iriyo,or uriyo' we also have one word for evening greeting 'oimore' What I fail to understand is why our language has changed this much over the years.
