Don Rich was a bit ahead of his time. Buck Owens pleaded with him to stay off that motorcycle, but he didn't listen and was taken from us way too soon. The heartbeat of The Buckaroos, and a perfect harmony for Buck's live performances. Thanks for this tutorial.

This is the most complete content on the web. I just signed in for the first time and downloaded your tab for 'Buckaroo'. I love that you include music notation because the rhythms in country music are hard to decipher. I've also been looking for days to find any tab that could give me clues to the steel guitar solo and yours is the first. The video is first class- easy to see the fingerboard plus, the step by step approach makes it easy to follow. Thanks so much; I think that I will be spending a lot of time on your site. Cheers, Michael from British Columbia.

Funny. I had a regular happy hour gig at a blues bar here in Sacramento California on Thursday nights for years. We’d play this song, Rumbke, Miserlou, Radiohead , The Kiinks , Neil Young and The Clash. We split eventually because I’m a singer songwriter oriented guy and my friend was a country shreddder. So now I’m watching your channel so I can beat him at his own game hahah.

The late great Don Rich. I got to witness Buck Owens in the flesh at Bimbo's 360 club in San Francisco back in the late 1990s. thanks for the lesson Adrian, Buckaroo is one of those songs I always liked but never got around to learning. Our band has learnt about 20 instrumentals, mostly Shadows songs from the 60s (Apache, Geronimo, Flingel Bunt, Atlantis, Foot Tapper, Wonderful Land etc). we also play Walk Don't run, Bombora by Aussie band The Atlantics, Surfside by another Aussie band the Denvermen, and Johnny Guitar by the Spotnicks. we hope to learn Telstar, Southern Rora (by the Joy Boys) and Pipeline soon. White Rabbit (by NZ guitarist Peter Posa) was a hit in Australia and probably NZ back in the 60s.

Favorite guitar instrumentals… Mark Knopfler has the most. He’s the only artist where I actually enjoy every song in the bands album. Love Dire straits 1978 Dire straits album. Brothers in arms. Private investigations. I love the queen of hearts guitar riff, check out Phil Mcgarrick on KZitem. Love the solo from devil in disguise by Elvis. I love say it isn’t so by the outfield. The doobie brothers China grove. Spiders and snakes by Jim Stafford. Spirit in the sky Norman greenbaum Billy squire the stroke, lonely is the night. Billy Idol has several good ones. Billy Joel has quite a collection. Twilight zone by golden earring. John cougar has a bunch. Eagles. Creedence Clearwater Revival. The Everly Brothers. Bruce Springsteen. Rick Springfield. Men at work. Roger Miller. Johnny cash. The list goes on… but this is my general description of “good music” and excellent guitar playing. I don’t appreciate all the hail Satan artists/idiots screaming in the microphones. Such as rap and metal. That’s not music, it’s noise
