I hope your channel will be around for a long time because i listen to your post every time their something new it would be a lost for us jazz guitar learner's to see you go.You've already done a John lennon guitar arrangement why not do some more pop tunes with a jazz guitar feel once in a while. Then come back with a jazz standards or something that you really had a good time preparing. Stay healthy Richie.

Just found this! I’m taking lessons and my “piece of the week” is “Blue Monk.” I’m starting with just the single note line but will show this to my instructor. I particularly like the fourth “chord melody” version.

I thought of a tune for you to teach that people don't think of. Captain Bacardi by Jobim.

It's a nice tune but most players aren't familiar with it so I probably wouldn't get very many views. Unfortunately it is highly time consuming to create these lessons, so I have to be very selective in what I post. As a matter of fact, my channel is already suffering from being too "esoteric" and minority oriented. :(

I can see how to mix this up by playing off the beat, sort of jumping on it's back, instead of walking along side with it. Very Monk.
