You have no idea how cool it was to find this lesson. I've been listening to him since the very beginning of the Jefferson airplane starting with Takes Off. Wilder, I had VIP tickets to see him last night at Levon Helm Studio in Woodstock. Phenomenal solo performance. Yesterday was Jack Cassidy birthday and to start the show Jorma surprise phone called him and the audience sang happy birthday. Too cool!!

Having learned this song from Jorma, I can say great job on your break down. Note: I believe the guitar Jorma is playing in the video is the actual guitar he used to record the song in 1967. If you haven't covered it yet, you may want to look at his version of Hesitation Blues recorded in 1970. There is a great video of him performing it from the Mike Douglas show.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the breakdown. Hesitation Blues is a great song too and I did a lesson on it a few months ago. Im not sure it was from the Mike Douglas show but Ill check it out. Thanks for your suggestion!

@@FeedbackGuitarAcademy Checked out your lesson on Hesitation Blues, another great job. Yes it is the performance from the Mike Douglas show. The record version on the first Hot Tuna album is different from the video performance. It's also faster. Also, he pushes that G chord at his workshops. At 83 he is still able to make that chord. He actually got me to do it once. Haven't been able to do it since.
