It is time to learn Hebrew and one and only advice I have in mind for me is: "just pay extreme attention to the Teacher about the way she "sounds" the words and phrases in Hebrew and repeat them as many time as it is possible, without forcing yourself to memorize them at all, also do not concentrate to much attention about the meaning of the words. As a beginner all what I need now is: "The Sound, The Sound and the Sound". In the future that very same "Sound of Hebrew" will remind me the words and the meaning without any effort and pressure on my mimd. This is the Method which A Child uses Natrully to learn Mother and Father Language. The "Soumd" is the most important tool to learn a language. Otherwise it becomes impossible through forceful internal reaction to learn a Language.

I speak 4 languages. And I agree if you want just to speak . But if you want to dominate a language, you will never do it if you don't have a pen and notebook to write what you just learned and what you didn't learn but will memorize later. You can't learn (dominate)a language just watching videos.

It's surprisingly very easy and simple for me to read Hebrew written in Latin, i'm from Croatia and here we have a rule ''we write as we read, and we read as we write'' and it seems to work well in this case. We pronounce the letters in the alphabet in the same way as we pronounce the letters in the words. So basically you just have to learn the alphabet and you can automatically read every word without even hearing it.

Hi Rami Joseph, Thanks for posting! Well, in the early stages you could say we teach both, as the Hebrew language didn't change so much in the last millennia in comparison to others... But later on, we focus on "modern" Hebrew, and on topics that will allow one to communicate in Hebrew today. That said, with the knowledge you'll gain here and learning a few adjustments, you would be able to read the bible as well at some point. I hope that helps! Yours, Roi Team HebrewPod101.com

you are not from Israel there is no such thing as Israel it is just a zionist entity based on Genocide killing murdering and stealing Palestian land ,and you and your family are just occupiers that live in a land that belong to Palestians that are no longer there either because of the genocides that happened against them during nakba1948 or because the zionist militars forced them to leave ,we will comeback to our homes soon or later

You might not see the all the male/female differences in the written language, unless it's כתיב מנוקד; however, you do hear it in spoken form. Numbers are another world. ;-)

I think the word “use” didn’t meant to be in that sentence, that is still a pretty cool comment.
