What a wonderful journey you've had, and how great it is that you and your family are such an inspiration and catalist for artists who are supposed to have a career as an artist. It is so clear that your education comes from real experience in the art world. What a good and uplifting message you've given. And that demonstration was such an amazing work. Thank you.

Also, I'm from Georgia, too...and I'm always worried about talking on video/reels and getting comfortable with being recorded because my ADHDness, not to mention my super southern voice, but you sound relaxed and it's so fun listening to you. I need to try to have fun with it and give it a go. You guys are all inspiring! 👏🏻❤🎉

So many times I feel like my hand is being guided by some unseen force. Any type of religious talk always sounds so wacky to me UNLESS it's spoken through the lens of an artist. It's the only religious experience I can say I relate to. Great stuff in this video, great work and advice!!

Hey Freezy! I really enjoyed this. I've watched so many of your videos, and you always make me laugh. I'd like to know more about your faith some time. Very interesting how this all came together. I'm familiar with God's ways and how He orchestrates things, and I have caught glimpses here and there in your videos that He is a big part of your lives.

Inspired by your words but am so in my head, how would I undo years of programming to let myself be free again?
@johnmilan6836
Жыл бұрын
That’s a really good question, I would start with creating a schedule and sticking to it. This is what many people have told me to do and it really works. Another thing, is, I do not watch television. It’s still fine to watch videos, and things that you choose but not programmed television, which is designed to hold us back in my opinion I know this may be a controversial topic, but as for creativity, you will really grow staying away from those types of programming. Reading really poetic. Fascinating books is also very good for you, eating, very healthy and staying on a good track with sleeping and exercising. Will give you the strength to spend many hours in your artwork. Let me know how this goes if you try this out I know you can do it, when you think about the creation of art, you must be able to get yourself very free and try things out without worrying about the consequences such as having 100 squares or surfaces to scribble and paint on in a sort of quick way which will allow you to come up with things and create a sort of muscle memory in a way. It’s one of my favorite things to do 100 painting challenge.

When you start adding the religious comments "the Lord sent it to me..." etc is so off-putting and undermines your other messages when you get all crazy religious person on us
@humminghawk

I'm glad he is who he is and talks like he does. So it effects others the opposite . Maybe he is this way for us that it inspires. I guess its true, you can't make everyone happy or be everyone's cup of tea.
@v_elisha
9 ай бұрын
I disagree. No one should tell an artist to change their “art voice” to please everyone. For him, it is his faith in the Lord which drives his art voice. If you don’t share the same faith and you find it offensive, you are freely welcome to leave. Let others talk about their faith. Why should everyone compromise their faith just to please you.
@starveartist
9 ай бұрын
@v_elisha they obviously can, and DO, talk about whatever they want. Comments here on youtube are also to give feedback and what one person likes, another may not like, but I am watching all of their videos and giving my opinion, just like you are giving yours. The topic of their videos is generally about teaching/learning painting, so it's not unusual to comment on a part that veers off on another tangent. They appear to want to sell/market their school as much as possible on here, and marketing wise, just like they avoid politics, they could avoid religion, as they are both similarly polarizing.
