PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION - This painting tutorial will take you through easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions on how to paint this humorous landscape pet portraiture image of "CRUISING CANINE" with acrylic paint. Join Fido as he zips up his leather jacket, straps on his boots, put his sunglasses on, revs the engine, grips the handlebars, and cruises along the open road on his motorcycle. Destination unknown. Perhaps to a bike rally, to join up with other cyclists, to a motorcycle convention, to a bike shop for some cool upgrades, or, maybe, just around town for fun. With a grin on his face and wind in his ears and scarf flying about, this barking biker is having the time of his life. This is the perfect pet painting for any dog owner. With these simple painting steps, you can customize your painting in any way you want. Don’t own a French Bulldog? Easily paint a Golder Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Beagle, German Shepherd, or Poodle. Don’t like red scarfs? Easily paint a leather jacket, T-shirt, sweater, or your favorite team’s jersey or any log you want. Don’t like goggles? Easily paint cool retro or hipster glasses or the dog's real eyes. Don’t like loud motorcycles? Turn it into a moped, scooter, minibike, enduro, or dirt bike. Go crazy and put your doggie on the back of a banshee like in the movie Avatar and have him flying around Pandora. Add a helmet, or different colored scarf for your ruff rider. The possibilities are endless for your painted pooch. Just have fun and be creative and make it your own. The first lesson you’ll learn in this easy painting lesson is how to use simple painting techniques for blending the background for added depth and atmospheric dimension, using natural and heavenly colors to create a warm summer sky, the perfect day for your playful pup to go cruising. Then, after using a pencil to draw the outline for your Harley Davidson hound and his hog, you’ll then learn how to mix paint and create the ideal colors which you will use as a base coat to build off of. The next art tip you’ll learn in this canvas painting lesson is how to paint fur with a simple dabbing and stippling technique, making it feel so realistic that you want to pet him with your hand. Then you’ll create realistic looking dimension with properly placed highlights and shadows on your mutt to accentuate contour and form, followed by layering colors to give your panted puppy and his scarf texture and body creating a realistic 3-D effect like a photograph. You’ll finish off this exciting funny scenery painting and pet portrait by adding highlights and reflections on the shiny metallic chrome of the chopper and its mechanical parts, giving the feel that it’s outside. Using only 3 brushes and 5 colors we'll create this conversational illustration masterpiece that has a fun narrative, like a storybook and is sure to spark conversation and bring a smile to everyone’s face. Not just a beautiful painting, but an easy painting for beginners. So let's get painting and let's get sipping!
