Thank you for the lessons. I make sure to watch all the ads. Just to be clear though, you said 何も・誰も mean nothing/no one, which I guess is not accurate; they are closer to anything/anyone, right? Otherwise, the sentences 何もありません・誰もいませんwould be double negatives. Would it be better to translate these sentences as "There isn't anything" and "There isn't anyone"? Would appreciate the clarification. Again, super thanks for doing this!

Thank you for the great lesson sensei. I was going through the lesson for the second time when I noticed that - The second example in the time stamp 4.35 - " Maria is at home" should have followed the pattern - " N wa N(place)ni imasu" i.e Maria San wa uchi ni imasu. I may be wrong. Please correct me. Arigatou Gozaimasu.
@NihonGoal

Hello Madhurima, yes "Maria San wa uchi ni imasu(Maria is at home)" is correct but in this specific example we are following the pattern Place Ni Person GA imasu that's why I said "uchi Ni Maria san Ga imasu" which answers the question "Who is at home? -> It is Maria who is at home. If the question is "Where is Maria?" we can answer "Maria san wa uchi ni imasu(Maria is at home)" . I hope this helps :)

The pattern N(place) ni Noun ga imasu/ arimasu and the Noun wa N(place) ni arimasu/imasu. According to the video the first pattern is "There is a Noun in/at/on place and the second pattern the noun is in/on/ at the place. I'm just confuse because they are similar. Like the example Maria is at home. You used the pattern N(place) ni Noun ga imasu/ arimasu. "Uchi ni Maria-san ga imasu". Can we also use the other pattern which is Noun wa N(place) ni imasu/arimasu? "Maria-san wa uchi ni imasu"?
