I'm a cosmetologist by trade, but in the small town where I worked (retired now), I didn't have the opportunity to work on black peoples' hair (and not a WHOLE lot in cosmetology school because our black customers were a lot more few than the white ones, so they were, generally, given to the black students so that they'd have the practice on their own type of hair - which was understandable). I am just MESMERIZED when I watch these types of videos. I, absolutely, LOVE them. And when I watch black cosmetologists working on their black customers' hair and just "knocking it out of the ballpark" on the end results, I get so excited! It makes me want to go back to cosmetology again and do ONLY black clients! 😅 FR, FR. Their hair can be so beautiful......mesmerizing, like I said.

Cute but respectfully or disrespectfully how ever you take it but I know a lot of black Women wouldn’t trust or feel comfortable with a white women in their hair like that I know I wouldn’t we can deal with your hair but you can’t ours this crown is work not for the weak but it’s cute you admire our hair 🙂
@kellyganey5032
7 ай бұрын
@@kimwilliams5495 Not at all disrespectful (in my opinion), as nothing I said was meant to be disrespectful. I was, totally, sincere and earnest in all that I said. AND, in FACT, when I mentioned that when I was in cosmetology school and most black customers were given to black students so they'd have the opportunity to work on the type of hair they'd most likely be doing more of (once they were out in the field), but it WAS ALSO because black ladies PREFERRED the black students to do their hair. AS a cosmetologist, I, TOTALLY, GET IT. After having the opportunity to, actually, work with black ladies' hair before, I understand how DIFFERENT it is from any other type of hair, although, if taken care of correctly, it is absolutely gorgeous. Still, watching black ladies/girls braiding other black girls' hair is just mesmerizing to me. The skill it takes is unbelievable and the speed! OMG! You would never see a white girl be able to do ANY of that on another white girl's hair at that level of skill and/or speed (NOR would you see her do it on a black girl, either! LOL. At least, it would be very few and far between). Yes, I LOVE watching braiding, but in all honesty, if I were a black lady, I would wear my hair in a big curly Afro. I just think that is the, absolute, CUTEST "do" and I love "big hair" anyway. My kids always tell me I'm stuck in the 80's with the big hair. LOL
@AB-zv5bb

Both of you sound ignorant. Any "poor" person in the past knew how to cut, style our own hair. I'm white, married to a black man for 22 years. We have 7 children and 26 grans and 1 great gran. I hate to tell you both, I do all of their hair. The non mixed race and mixed race. Also, this curly course type hair is also found in other areas of the world, in other races besides "black" . As cosmetologists, I'm surprised by both of you. Describing hair as white or black. Sadly these types of marketing descriptions have led to unreal products in our markets and further segregated our communities. Sad but true. Please stop causing divides. We taught each other these things so I didn't have to pay someone 300 bucks or more to braid 1 head! Yes it's work but in our family, we have "girls night slumber parties and geez! We have white girls doing black girls hair. I say girls because they are mostly all under 18. We even have people ask us, who does our hair because they want it done. This simple act of caring for each other has hopefully prepared our lineage to not see each other as you all have broken us apart. Here's a question to think on before answering...would you let a man cut or style your hair? Why? Or why not? If you did would you require him to be a guy man? 😢😢😢😢😢

JESUS TELLING US ABOUT UNBELIEVERS AND THIS IS WHAT JESUS TOLD THE UNBELIEVERS IN THE BOOK OF JOHN CHAPTER 8VS.44-45 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not./JOHN CHAPTER 10 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. /John 15:18-27 John 15:18-27 KJV If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your's also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: and ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. Revelation 22:12 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lies Revelation 22:16-21 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
