The circle and oval method always work for me when drawing, all it takes is spending your free time studying art and doing whatever drawing baddies, cities, perspective figure drawing especially doing them as people intend to focus more on details on the face for some reason as already know the details will be further away and don't worry about that, just go with your gut

"Talent" is whatever advantage you're born with, affinity or what not, and it will take you one step ahead when you're getting started among your peers. BUT, if you don't hone those skills, don't practice, don't invest time, nothing will come off of it. "Talent" is just an excuse for people who can't take the profession they are interested in seriously. Mastering technical skills and understanding the fundamentals is the key to improvement and becoming a better artist. A "talentless" artist who's dedicated and taking their time to practice and refine their skills will surpass a "talented" artist who doesn't do anything but rely on whatever they garnished during their childhood or whatever period they got started with art. Being a good artist requiers effort and dedication. Those periods vary among people, because people have different resources - be it time to work on stuff, ability to focus on a task, determination, dedication etc. Expensive tools are not important at all. And saying that digital art is somewhat easier is wrong, it's just a different skill. And if you're looking for affordable digital tools; there are free great programs and apps for digital art like Krita, fireAlpaca, Medibang. And there are plenty cheap versions and options of drawing tablets that are more than sufficient to work professionally. You don't need the most expensive tools to succeed. If your mind is really set on it then anyone can learn how to do art. In this day and age art is even simpler and accessible than it was before, since there are so many free tutorials and guides available online. For all levels of artists, begginners to professionals, all sorts of styles and deciplines. And this video is just one wonderful example. Be honest with yourself and ask yourself if you're REALLY doing everything you can to improve your skills. And if you are doing that, then trust the process and you will reach there in due time.:) As a side note, the unfortunate truth about artists is that we are constantly striving to become better, and this is a reality many beginners don't always grasp and end up becoming frustrated. Allow yourself to be thirsty and hungry for knowledge, there's nothing wrong with that. That what makes our process so exciting, knowing that you will keep growing and learning.

Yeah, that’s why I prefer to draw digitally. Sometimes when I draw in my sketchbook I want to undo or zoom. It’s hard drawing without that 🥲

@@yellerart Dont agree. Talent is much more that that. Just look at Yusuke Murata. This guy is the envy of the mangaka industry that drew for capcom when he was 11 to 12 years old. Thats not Working hard. Thats talent. He can draw cyborgs, muscle like its nothing, sci fi vehicals, You name it. thats more then just hard work.

@@Morphexxer This statment is very much a disregard of Murata's dedication and hard work. Putting artists on a pedestal as if they are some godly gifted beings is pointless and a disservice to both you and the artist. Masters of their craft became what they are because they ||mastered|| it. Mastering something takes time, dedication, hard work and determination. They definitely did not earn the title because they woke up one day and were good at something. Rememebring that these are just people who worked hard is the core of letting go of the concept that you can't achieve a skill level because "you weren't born with talent". In my childhood my brother was the talented artist, he drew everything so nice while my art was nothing but childish doodles. Instead of being jealous and discouraged I focused on art and made it my purpose. Been making a living from doing art for years now. It's my career and profession. So you definetly can't convince me otherwise.
