Hello :D Could you help me please? Good night is bari gisher in eastern armenian but it is kisher pari in western armenian. I know the difference between western and eastern armenian about the letters but i wonder is there a spesific reason that it is kisher pari and not pari kisher?

what is the difference between eastern and western Armenian? where are they each spoken??
@izzyberry69
8 жыл бұрын
+Kiran B. there's no significant difference in the two, but there are certain words that are said/spelt differently in both of them, and like their names suggest, eastern Armenian is spoken in the east side of Armenia and vise versa.
@magodiablo

It's basically the same language. Understandable by over 90 percent. Unless people of each group do not know their own language very well. Long time ago all these dialects, the Eastern dialects and Western dialects were spoken in a bigger Armenia. Eastern part of Armenia is today in Turkey because Turks took over our lands. people moved for different reasons wars, genocide, slavery those kind of things. Today Eastern Dialects are spoken in Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Iran and some other countries mostly former Soviet Union territories. There is a big variety within Eastern dialects as well. For example the Karbakh dialect (an Eastern dialect) is harder to understand for people in Yerevan, than understanding Western Armenian dialects. My knowledge is very limited about the varieties of Western dialects and whether they also have such a distinct dialect in the Western version. I would suggest choose to learn any that you like most and learn it. you will be able to understand the others. Some words change from place to place but so they do in English too.Writing wise I would suggest as a learner of second language go for Eastern in specific the one thought in Armenia. you will find more materials and generally is less complicated than the old orthography used in other places. (do not be scared, it is the same alphabet both new and old one, lol).

Garegin it sounds odd. No one says success to everyone the way to say that is good luck. Instead to say literally it’s better to say other meaning of the word is success.
