Learn Your Body’s Signals: Part Twenty-One:
Kyle’s Mental Health Changes
Kyle’s ravenous hunger diminished and he’s able to go without his pemmican bite snacks in between meals.
But once that settled down, he noticed his mental health started to decline.
When he started the Carnivore diet, his mental health improved after 2 weeks, which was his main reason for continuing even when the transition was difficult (lots of bathroom trips).
👉He listened to his body’s signals and realized he needed to make a small pivot. He remembered feeling really good eating between 160-170g of protein, so that’s what he’s trying next.
He’ll keep his protein at that range and bump his fat down to adjust for the caloric difference and go from there.
He always thought high fat (ketogenic state) was important for mental health (listened to others), but going by how he feels, protein is the most important lever for him.
⭐️Listen to your body and make small pivots!
