Hello! In case you have forgotten and have trouble navigating through this game's UI like I sometime do, the Tactical Camera and other special utility items are indeed sold by Bundleton in the Innards. His inventory is subdivided into Rig and Large Items categories. So if you look more to the center of the screen you can click between those two categories. You'll find the Tac Cam under Large Items!

Couple tips for ya: Bundleton has 2 tabs at the top above the listing of good. One is Rigs and the other is Large Items. And turn your gamma up a little. The default setting is too low. Cheers and good luck. :)

you say the night maps are awful.. but the very first time i entered elephant map was the night map. there was a night module no joke right at the entrance. the 30+ minutes i spent crawling through the middle of the map was simply amazing. i was instantly sold. it made my whole experience. i wouldn't be such a big fan of this game if it didnt have moments like those.

Hey! I love that this is your experience with the night maps and with the game overall. I agree that TFW excels as a stealth & horror-survival game. I forgot if I had explained why I hated the night maps in the video but I think my feeling at the time was that I wasn't familiar with the enemy placements and assumed looting would be more difficult. Which would have made sense since I was focused on learning easy routes to follow and places to loot.

Re: Weapons… you loot destroyed weapons from infantry. When you extract, prior to going into your next raid (or choose an easy raid you “know” you can exfil alive) put the destroyed weapons on your rig. After you exfil from your second raid, the guns will go from destroyed to disabled. You can then purchase the items you need to make them functional, character permitting of course.

I didn’t even know about the hideout upgrade screen. Thanks for that.

Gotcha. This is the sort of thing that could really benefit from some tutorial-izing when the game is fully released. I've got a couple destroyed guns in my stash I'll try this on tonight!

No worries, haha. That's the beauty about the game right now, we're all learning together.

@@Maclintok I usually take em, two hirees and the loot mule to the scrapyard nexus and do the money farm. It’s short, relatively survivable, and has the added benefit of 100 k in side money.

I'd be careful about getting too used to this as this definitely feels like a bug/unintended feature that might be patched later down the line, but for now yes, you can even get the backpack with 2 weapon racks and exploit another bug which if you place a weapon in the bottom right rack it fills the right side with 3 examples of the weapon. So with 1 destroyed weapon you could get 3 working weapons in a single run. Again since it's clearly too good to be true they'll definitely patch it later, either that or the game will have a ridiculously easy way to get advanced weapons.

I realisedthis game is a lot more fun to watch than to play. The dread is immense.

I appreciate your time and your comment! If you're still testing the waters, I would of course recommend that you try playing at some point. It can be very fun most of the time or "fun" all the other times...in the same way you force yourself to go on a scary ride or enter that haunted house knowing there are actors in costume waiting to pounce on you in the dark. :)
