How tall are you? Also I guess training for the handstand and the press to handstand at the same time can reduce the time on achieving them? Also also, great videos!

But long torso and short legs should help you get more closer to the ground and more elbow flexion thereby giving you a better press is it not?? I have heard a few yogis say that

Aren’t short legs easier? Since the amount of strength needed to pull your body is lower, since the legs are shorter and weigh less..

You would think so, but the spine extension strength is never an issue in press and can sort of be neglected. The hip position and its effect on required shoulder flexion strength will be much more critical. Long legs will make it considerably easier to get hips over the center line (ie. Where your hands are placed) and thus reduce the shoulder flexion strength required. This is of course given that a decent forward food mobility is already in place 😊
