We have a Burley Bark Ranger XL for our 75lb and growing German Shepherd mix dog. You can see we have some mishaps but, in the end, we got to our destination (Pier 62) on our first try without disaster so I consider it a success!

We have 2 Lectric brand e-bikes -- the XPremium which is pulling our dog and the XPedition which is pulling our toddler.
Our first time recording was also our first time riding with our dog in a trailer.
Not very nature-ey but, we plan on taking our whole family including our dog on some trips, and this seemed like a good video to share!

Learn from our mistakes...
• Get your dog tired before expecting them to sit still for a while. tired dog = good dog.
• Safety tether your dog to the inside of the trailer!
We were very lucky she broke out in a place she’s walked before so she didn’t get too scared or distracted. We’re also lucky it wasn't in the middle of traffic and realized we should have tethered her earlier. You can see more of our ride that day on the Elliott Bay Trail in our next video.
