This is one of my favorite REM songs and never expected to see a reaction to it though. Loved it. Subbed.

To my knowledge you're the first to react to this jewel of a song. Congratulations. Special song, special group.

It’s cool when a band doesn’t chase sales or superstardom but gets both anyway lol. A mega band with humble beginnings and a somewhat muted end. They never stopped making great music though. This album was on the other side of their peak but certainly not on the slide. Michael Stipe has one of the most distinctive voices in music.

I was sitting here waiting for it to kick in at the start lol always been my favorite from these guys! If you get the chance I think you’d love Paolo Nuttini with Iron Sky live at Abbey Road, that will knock your socks off brother!

Heard across the land on college radio stations at the outset, they didn't seem interested in going mainstream, though certain of their songs did, in fact, appeal to a large audience. This is one of my favorites to this day. Good request, Matt 👍

Country Feedback. Stipe's favorite R.E.M. song. I recommend the live version with Neil Young.

Dang, dude, your mind is so open. I saw another reactor (Alex Haitz) cover this entire album. This song is so long and noisy, I seem to recall he hated it lol. But I am a big REM fan. Saw them in '89, '95, and '03. I like most of their stuff. They have some interesting collaborations. They include Patti Smith, William Burroughs, KRS-1, Kate Pierson, Thom York, Warren Zevon, Neil Young... Also their song Let Me In was written in mourning Kurt Cobain, who Michael Stipe was friends with.

Hey Teez-love this track, it speaks to my soul, as this whole cd does. You see I love all REM, except for their previous cd release, Monster. I hated it at the time it was released, This cd, New Adventures in Hi-fi, brought me back to these guys. Every REM cd is incredibly musically, vocally, and progressively. Amazing band, amazing body of work-please continue to explore their music. Your ears, and your soul will be so happy that you did.

REMs almost disgustingly overrated album. A fitting finale for Bill Berry
