@matthew is this recent aka in the last decade because Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Philippines were quite dangerous in the 80s and 90s and so was China. It is really only after the 2000s that most of Asia started to become quite safe. India still has a very bad safety reputation especially for foreign women. I noticed the change around 2003. My first trip to China was 1986 and I can tell you it was not safe at all and I speak 5 dialects of Chinese and am of full Chinese ancestry so it wasn’t like I was sticking out like a sore thumb. Safety improvements in China actually progressed at an incredible pace, in 86 because I was still a kid, the Nanjing government actually assigned police bodyguards to me to show me sights around Nanjing. My parents were there to open the very first foreign investment factory in the city. My trips there in the 90s, the government no longer insisted on police escorts but the factory management did assign “bodyguards” from factory staff if I wanted to go elsewhere in the city. After the 2000s, either because I’m already an adult or safety has improved so much that every trip, nobody cared where I went any more, personally I think it’s both as I stopped encountering hecklers of all sorts and of course city infrastructure was night and day from the 80s and 90s. Comparatively most cities in the West has gone downhill in terms of safety plus I stick out like a sore thumb in the west. Most cities in Asia still have good and bad areas even today so if you go to a bad area alone in the middle of the night, you are just asking for it. Today, I find Jakarta, Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh and Taipei extremely safe and have no issues walking alone at night through “dark alleys”

I think China has improved and evolved over the last 75 years to be where they are at now. Probably due to appropriate governance by strategy, hard work by the government and its people. And maybe a hint of chance and luck. Nevertheless, they are doing very well and the world should pay attention to see what they can borrow and appropriate to make their nations better and stronger for everyone. Moving over there is not as easy as just that. It takes resources, money and a zeal for adventure to leave everything behind and just move to a new place.

In the end, if the whole world is as safe, peaceful, and prosperous like China, you don’t need to move anywhere. Home sweet home.

Either way, the system has been thoroughly monopolized where the only choice we have is really no choice at all. Either way, the American empire will collapse from the endless expense of all these endless war mongering. The problem with moving to China is that you will forever be a guest in that country even if you marry a Chinese spouse. The Green Card aka. Permanent Residence Card is nearly impossible to get for the average person. Therefore every 1-5 years, you will need to renew your Temporary Residence Permit, not exactly a HOME by conventional definition. I have yet to explore that if you marry a Chinese spouse and decide not to have children, and he/she "leaves" before you. You'll likely need to leave China.

@5:17, In the USA the health care is very expensive. If you can’t afford health care insurance in the USA, you will be bankrupt after hospitalization for a serious health problem or even giving birth, especially when the newborn has health complications. Uncomplicated C -section is at least $50k. Appendectomy is more than $50k. Comprehensive Cat-scan can easily reach $50k. Needless to say, cancer treatment, heart, retinal, any organ surgery cost over 6 digits. Most Americans don’t have enough savings to shoulder the additional cost of surgery and post-op hospitalization, hence, having health insurance is a matter of financial survival or bankruptcy - if they can afford the hefty insurance premium. USA tax-and -spend $1trillion per yea waging wars around the world and buying over-priced war machines, or paying $100 for a screw driver, $500 for a toilet cover, $ 100 million per F35, $10 billion nuke carrier (without aircraft or missile defense system). Just in 2023 alone the USA gifted to Ukraine $350 billion to wage a new war and $400 million to fund anti China propaganda campaigns. The US government aggressively collects taxes, especially after hiring additional 30,000 tax investigators, but pleads poverty, austerity, or fiscal discipline when the American people asked for a national health care system like the one in China, Canada, Russia, or Western Europe. There’s something wrong going on in DC. Something stinks on Philadelphia Avenue. It’s more repulsive than Kensington Avenue.

China has a stable government. China has an extremely low crime rate for a nation of 1.3 billion people. China’s subways are safe, fast, efficient, affordable, and clean. China’s cities are clean, no trash, syringes, condoms, human urine and feces on the streets. China doesn’t have Kensington Avenue. China doesn’t have smash and grab criminals or money grubbing tax man. If you say something contrary to KZitem’s corporate policy, KZitem will ban or terminate your subscription or channel. KZitem banned and terminated RT ( Russian Times ) because its content contradicted the news of US corporate media. If you’re wealthy enough, you can speak your mind on your own corporate TV, radio, newspapers, or internet channel. I know why China is peaceful. China is from the East. East means the Lord and the Lord means peace and love. West means Wisdom. And Wisdom is a manifestation of Love. This is why western world is full of wisdom, intelligence, ideas, gossip, talk shows, argumentative, debates, competitive, self-centered. And why the East is full of love, peacefulness, quiet, meditation, introvert, family values, cooperation. The Lord is silence and only listen to those who are at peace (hence people meditate).

Chinese culture has lasted for five thousand years. It has always been the same culture of the same group of people. Then you should know they really know how to manage a nation. An old Chinese saying goes: Water can carry a boat, but also can sink it. People are water and the nation is the boat. All around the world, what people care the most is their life. safety, financial situation, kid's education, family member's health.

The reasons with regards to peace and freedom could be sharpened. While Western voting turnout doesn't mirror China's, the irony is lost on critics quick to label it as evidence of authoritarianism. This peace in China stems from fulfilling the needs of the working class. Your mention of "democracies" in the West only grazes a deeper ideological split. The Western pride in a democratic facade often blinds critics to China's unique political philosophy. Western democracy, in reality, favours the rich, leaving the working class in the lurch. This system, where the wealthy’s agents advance their patrons' interests, creates stark socio-economic gaps. Yet critics celebrate this flawed system for its seemingly diverse party representation. More often, it's a one-party, two-faction drama, with both factions catering to the ruling elite's desires. On the other hand, the one-party system in communist, socialist states like China doesn’t hinder progressive change, but enshrines and upholds working-class interests. This setup enables the election of working-class representatives, much like democratic ideals, but safeguards against factions that would reintroduce unfair societal conditions. China’s political mechanism, with its layered sophistication, outshines Western models, offering a democratic outcome more in sync with the populace's needs. The peace across China isn't a facade driven by tyranny, but a reflection of proficient governance and societal care. Your narrative could gain depth by highlighting that peace in China isn’t born of tyranny but is the outcome of democratic advancement, fostering societal satisfaction.

Same here. I am waiting for the day of retirement and move to China after. Should not be too hard. As Americans can get a 10 year multi entry visa, so I plan to get that visa, buy a ticket, pack up and go. Once there, contact a local real estate agent and rent a place to live. That's all.

Thanks for speaking the truth, but unfortunately it looks like KZitem (mouthpiece of wstern media) has taken an action to your latest videos. Similar with other channels that tell any positive image of China, especially the govt. Somehow... the algorithm will underpromoted your content. Your videos will rarely seen on 'next videos' or 'recommend videos' section. Your newly posted video won't spread widely in viewers' home screen. So your video tend to less views upon the release. Sometimes it takes 2-3 days to see the new video shown up in home. See how come CGTN channel with more than 3 mil subscribers, but the videos are so d am n low views. Western media and poIiticians don't want the worId learns the truth.

I live with a Chinese couple in the US, and I’ve been studying for 2 months now. One was a lawyer, the other was a banker. They helped me with my foundation, so now I’m studying myself, and they will help me and correct me along the way, and test me once a month after I study my 🍑 off 😂. I also eat the food and learn about their culture from the province they were raised in. I love the language so far! They have a different opinion on China from you (they agree with some things). They’ve had bad experiences with the CCP, but something gives me the sense that we have the same values…but politics aside, as far as the language and learning. I’m with you sis 😮💨‼️ keep going. I’m doing the same. I’m conservative as far as western politics, as well as the couple I live with. Also, they told me KZitem wasn’t in China, so I’m curious as to how you’re recording this. Has it changed? Is it only in certain provinces? Lol I have so many questions😂!

80% of Chinese who went to america and become american citizenship were mostly corruption runaway criminals who will never go back to China if they do not want to be ended up in prison. They help you because they are living with you in the similar corrupted land and they feel part of it as corruption is number 1 disease in north america.

People and the environment will change over time.China was very poor in the past, although it was a necessary experience. However, many people blame the mistakes and incompetence of the government and political parties for this, especially when they see how advanced western countries are through the news media. They will draw some conclusions and leave China. Many years later, even though China has changed, the conclusions in the hearts of those people will not change, which is normal.

China isn’t an immigrant country. It will never lower its cultural and language barriers so immigrants can get by without learning Chinese or the Chinese culture (unlike many tourist countries in the world). If there’s an influx of immigrants, especially ones who tend to stick to their own ethnic communities and don’t integrate well with the locals (maybe due to the language barrier), they would find out just how intolerant and unwelcoming Chinese people can be. China much prefers people from other countries staying in their own countries and have friendly relations with China. Visit, but don’t stay, unless you have some very sought after niche skills.

i would be happy with a work visa and buy an apartment visit time to time, probably fall in love and get married because getting a china s green card it s almost impossible for understandable reasons "" due china food security for 1.4 billion they just can open their borders like the rest of the world" imagine that;;; the whole south east asia will move to china
Even if you marry a Chinese person, you will forever be a guest on a Chinese visa. Not a great feeling for someone who wants to call China home.

Thanks to Obama, we Americans can get a 10 year multi-entry visa. Not really necessary for green card or permanent residency. 10 year is a long time. And the visa can be extended.
